I think Satriani said he was in his band when he was young, I heard a funny story about the break up song, you know in the verses at the end of every verse there are no words he just says bu bu bu bu, so he brings the song in the first day of rehearsal starts singing it with the bu bu words, everybody likes the song, the next day he comes in, but he sings real words through the whole verse, and everybody goes where is bu bu part? He says no I didn’t have the words done yesterday, so I was just bu bu , they all looked at him and said it was way bu bu , so he put it back in, the rest is history, rest in peace Greg, that was a great song to leave to us
