I was in Greenwood, Mississippi driving down 82 when I heard it on a early Sunday morning after a Saturday night of drinking heavy from a broken heart. I came under conviction and cried like a baby on the side of the road. Im I child of God and every time I get discouraged or frustrated, I can slip into temptation and get off the road God has put me on. I play this song. It reminds me of what Christ did for me on the cross, and He through His blood, continues to do for me today, and encourages me to stay the course. God bless that song and the Freemans for singing it.

I met Chris at the Lutterfield First Nazarene Holiness Camp Meeting in Rigidwood Kentucky, I think it was 1999. She was real nice and said I should try the congealed salad because she made it. It was pretty good but it had shredded coconut in it (which I don’t like). But I told her it was the best I ever tasted and she smiled.
