It was nice to see a raw video of Puerto Vallarta. It has been a few years since we have been there. We usually go near Cancun because of the nicer beaches and clear water, but I like the people and culture of Puerto Vallarta better. Since we are from Canada we would happily go to either location to get a break from the snow! Great video!

My hubby and I have been vacationing in Puerto Vallarta for the past 12 years now. We go for 2 weeks every year from mid May to the end of May. Hope to run into you two this year. We love it there and hope to retire and move there permanently. We think it's beautiful. We have also been to Sayulita, Cozumel, Cabo, Akumal, Playa de Carmen, Yelapa, Todo Santos and all were quite beautiful and very safe!

I really like this video. I haven't been to P.V. in about 3 years and miss this place. It was good to see my favorite stores and restaurants again. My wife no longer travels and she won't let me travel alone, so you are doing the traveling for me. I collect t shirts. I have them from numerous cities in the world, but about 100 plus from P.V..All Mexican restaurants. Speaking of restaurants, is Derby Hamburgers still open. It is or was on the corner of the street that Maximilios is on, only a couple blocks further North. Great hamburgers, french fries and malts.

I was in Vallarta almost 3 years ago in May. Me and my two friends were having fun at LaVaquita, after we left the club my friend was offered cannabis by some dude. My friend purchased it, and then shortly after the police chases us through part of the malecón and through some of the city on foot. Long story short they ended up arresting us, beating us up and taking over 3000 pesos and 100 dollars cash before dropping us off like 30 minutes away in the ghetto and making us walk back to our hotel

Really enjoyed that walk through. It's been 24 years since my last time in Vallarta, we've been stuck on SJD/CSL for a while. I've walked most of those streets, and am struck by how much the same it is, although I recognized almost no landmarks. It does seem a lot more bustling than way back when. In some ways that's good. Back then NV was just starting to build, and it felt from afar that everything was going all-inclusive. Very happy to see that the gringos still get out and about in the town and aren't all stuck in their resorts.

We owned a beachfront condo for 20 years in the less touristy part of town. North of the malecon on Playa Camarones. The condo we owned was in a Spanish style building with only 16 units. The Catholic church we attended was just up the hill from our place in one of the neighborhoods. However when I say touristy, I mean where the majority of foreigners either live or visit. Which is the south side of the river also known as Zona Romantica and often times up on the hillsides. The gringos consist mainly of Canadians. We are from the US and Americans aren't as prevelant. The true tourists stay at the big resorts. Sometimes they venture out to the town but mostly on the main drag and malecon for shopping, eating and the nightlife. I love the neighborhoods and the feel of them. We always felt safe, even at night. I think the town is quaint and beautiful. The smells and bells of Vallarta are wonderful. The people are lovely and the weather is fabulous. I love this video. It makes me homesick for Vallarta.

The Malecon is beautiful with all the statues. Best to walk in the morning before the loud music from the bars & shops takes away the ambience. Vallarta in the last 10 yrs has become too noisy, crowded, commercial with way too many condos It is a good home base to travel to other more quaint towns & beaches.

Lily-white folks were never meant to sit under direct sunlight. At the very least, you should both be wearing wide-brimmed hats and t-shirts. Of course the Mexica sunshine is always magical, but can also be deadly. Young and pretty people who wish to prolong their youth and good looks, should always consider and respect the downside of too much sunlight. BTW, your travel-log videos are always fun to watch. Thank you.

The bar… It is covered like that because it is look like an old fashion bar that is considered more like a space for men to go. I remember been like that when I was small living in Puerto Rico. Going to a place like that on the 70s 80s was a NO NO for most of the women. In Panama also are bars like that. Few years ago I step in one of them. They served me but everyone was looking at me. I was the only woman there. The bar tender told me was unusual to see a woman there.

I just flew back from Puerto Vallarta, Loved it! I also seen Guadalajara back last year in February and I loved it. The homes in GDL for sale are really beautiful. They are very modern, but I love Puerto Vallarta. The condos are beautiful there, where they have High-Rise condos that have rooftop decks with Infinity pools and views of the bay. There are some condos that have access to a private beach for tenants and their families only, who come to visit. Which their beaches are just beautiful. There are some bars and restaurants where you can eat on the beach with their tables are on the sand some are covered in case it gets windy. Just Absolutely Beautiful.💯👍✌

I would add to your info with regard to the police and military. In places like Vallarta it's not a big deal to take pictures of them but if you're traveling in less touristy areas don''t be taking pictures of them. You will run the risk of having your camera confiscated. I miss the old wooden pier from back in the old days, it was a much quieter town back then. I love Vallarta but I live in Aguascalientes now.

Then across from them we get our sliced bacon we get ours sliced thick , and what ever else we need then right next to them i get 2 smoked pork chops.
