Love that preflight check. Left aileron input: check. Right aileron input: check. Pitch up input; check. Stick shaker test; check. Stick kicker input; check. ANd yes, I love a wheel (Boeing) and not the control sticks (Airbus) unless of course, it is a Viper. Nice video and thanks for sharing. Be blessed in Him.

Sad to say, they closed the centrifuge at Holloman several years ago. Still using one at Brooks AFB in San Antonio (training AF and Navy for now) and a new one was installed at Wright-Patt two years ago, but not yet operational. Thanks for posting!

Beautiful video. As is common in the NAS today a very new controller there at ELP. At one point I heard the instructing controller correct the trainees heading. No disrespect to the trainee but hats off to the instructor for catching the error. Thanks for the window in window with the instruments, looks great!

Thank you for making it possible for us to be a virtual part of your experience on this trips. I have only flown prop planes, as a freight pilot. So, this is a real treat for me. Your copilots that you choose to ride a long with you are very fortunate. We wish you safe trips in where ever you go.

First time I watched this video I did not realize you flew over the "border wall" (13:00), this time I heard you say, "there's the border." Border wall does not look like much from the sky, just like the Great Pyramids of Egypt. Up close, they are both more impressive. Great video!

Very nice video. You get better and better at this video stuff. I fly a little Cessna and always smile when I hear the tires give a sweet little chirp on landing. First time I've ever heard it from a jet. Damn you're good. 👍😊

There's an F16 fighter wing at ACY in Atlantic City and I used to love watching them do touch and goes. They would also practice "Strafing" us helicopters as we headed north from there along side their restricted training areas. All were very nice guys!

OGM great flying and Reminds me of old Marty Robbins song esp. if intl means you wandered into Mex. Looks like PW has AT on late PT6s so TBM940, PC12 and KA350 etc. TBM 940 also has 'land me' button that allegedly will land plane at nearest field with eqpt. Your comment on this always much appreciated. BP

Another great video. I made this trip (from KFWA) once in a Cheyenne 1. My trip was 12 hours and made for a very long day. If I remember correctly I had to shoot an ILS 5 approach to minimums at fwa. On those kind of days I let the aircraft do the approach. It's much better at it than I was.

Couldn't quite make it out but you mentioned around 27:00 that you did Military Training, was that as in Air Force or Army? I was in Rhodesia pre-1980... Thanks. (Loved the clouds by the way!). You mentioned F-117 @ Holloman AFB. All F-117's have been retired with the exception of a few swlwct jets which are not at Holloman. According to USAF, the F-117 was replaced by the F-22 until 2009 and now only hosts MQ-9 drones. Shame. I flew in and out of KHMN in C9-A's (DC-9-30's). Awesome snackbar !

three questions: 1) how did your passenger magically appear mid flight? 2) how many hours a month do you fly? 3) what type of industry are you in that either allows or requires you to regularly fly across the country?
@gregmink7 жыл бұрын
1) he was sitting in the back for first half of flight and then walked up and sat in the seat. 2) 25-30 3) you can go to my Dallas to Montrose video about 23:30 in for the answer to this question. Thanks for watching!

Love the scenery and skills. I earned my private at ELP. Routinely were were vectored across the border. Soon after I progressed to my instrument training and we would be sternly advised by ATC not to cross the border. I never never understood the change in protocol. Was there a diplomatic complaint?

As a fellow pilot I especially love your in flight professionalism; I had a hunch you're ex Military based on that ( I have a couple friends who fly Military - one naval aviator in the Super Hornet, one Air Force flying the F-16). If you're ever in WI (Green Bay; you know, maybe a Colts v Packers game? ;) I would be honored to meet you, shake your hand and thank you for serving this great country, and check out your beautiful P1 😊 Take care my friend.
