A piece of advice from a pilot: try to speak slowly when you transmit messages on the frequencies. You speak too quickly, and this can cause serious safety issues during your flights. Learn to articulate your messages clearly. Speaking too fast does not mean you are a professional, as others may have difficulty understanding the information. This will help avoid any collisions

Every pilot remembers their first solo. As a flight instructor of many years, now retired, the optimum age to learn how to fly is between 14 and 16. Kids of that age generally only need one demonstration of a given manoeuvre. As they get older they need more.

@tomarmstrong12814 ай бұрын
@@PrepareToTakeoff Find yourself a flight instructor who explains on the ground exactly what you will be taught during a lesson in the air and will listen carefully to your questions no matter how silly you think they might be. One who will demonstrate each airborne manoeuvre and give you ample time to practice the same manoeuvre. Avoid instructors who provide too much information in the air.

I remember a friend (who was a Doctor - a 'Flying Doctor!' - LOL) said, 'Remember, we humans are NOT meant to be up there! I replied, 'No, not without an aircraft and a map! I meant to learn to fly in the dark (and above the clouds) but it became too expensive. Maybe, one day!?
