20:35 is called The Great Wall. Built around st bernard parish to prevent hurricane storm surge from going into New Orleans. That long river was actually man made many years ago. We know it as the MRGO, Mississippi River Gulf Outlet, industrial canal, or ship channel. Water would funnel up into our parish and new orleans since they dug the channel. We used to have cypress swamps also. All that went away with the saltwater intrusion directly related to the Industrial Canal.

You know Greg of all the pilots that upload their flights here on KZbin you are the Best. Through your very good camera work, you show us the process of your preflight checklist, in-flight working of your instrument panel and how you go about inputting data and of course pre-landing procedures. for us non-pilots it is very fascinating and never gets tired of it and it really makes the ride along with you just that much more enjoyable. Thank You so much for the extra time and effort you put into it all.

Liked this episode. I did my beginning flight training at Lakefront. I also did a lot of sailing out of Southshore harbor next door. For those who don't know. Often in the fall, the National WWII Museum does an Air Power weekend when the museum brings out tanks and armored vehicles for ground displays and demonstrations. Next door at Southshore Harbor the Museum has a restored Higgins PT boat and the Commemorative Air Force brings in the aircraft. Its something to see a B-29 (Fifi), B-25, B24, B17, P-51's all flying around in the pattern.
