When left unchecked, the detestable men amongst soldiers of war can lay waste to the lands and people he is supposed to protect. Not all soldiers are evil, but there are some who find joy in the worst of acts. In A Song of Ice and Fire, that man is Ser Gregor Clegane. Known across the realm as The Mountain that Rides or simply The Mountain, Ser Gregor is also infamous for committing horrific acts wherever he goes. Since before the inception of the War of the Five Kings, the Mountain has plagued Westeros with his deeds, and appears to most common men and even polished knights as an immovable object. That theory is tested quite often, but Ser Gregor rarely seems to falter. So who exactly is Gregor Clegane, and why is he such an interesting character? Let’s explore…

Whoa! Look at what Gregor did...he kills a baby in front of it's Mother. And he wears a helm with a spike/fist. WtF!!!!! What was it that the Slave Master says to Dany when she goes to buy the Unsullied? He says something about how he once sold a few Unsullied and in small numbers they become ruined-so they sell by the 100's or 1000's only now. Take a closer look at Gregor and Varys-Varys wears a spiked helm in the Red Keep sewers when Arya 'spies' him there. I just realized something-the Cleganes have dogs for their sigil. Unsullied kill their puppies as well as a baby. Kinda like 'kill the boy, let the man be born.' but TWISTED AF. Varys gave the order-not Tywin.
