Is it it weird how songs' lyrics can be interpreted differently depending on context? Originally it was about Amy Lee's psychotherapist (now her husband). But if Gregorian really were a bunch of Christian monks, it could be about Christ or about God. (The same interpretation might apply if they were Muslim; or, with differences, Mahayana Buddhists.) And OTOH;; what if the first-person singer (the "me" in "bring me to life") were a vampire? or a zombie? Or what if the song were sung to Victor Frankenstein by his Adam?

One day, my friend, Frank, was visiting from Nebraska, and had to take a shit, so he took his phone and earbuds with him to listen to music whilst shitting. The others had the idea of tying Frank's belt around the the door knob and a nearby cabinet handle outside the bathroom. When Frank was done, he tried opening the door, only to have it pull back. Sometimes you'll get weird synonyms. άγε didn't always mean forcefully leading, it could also just mean plain old bring, at least that's how it's used in the new testament several times. Also the accusative singular of ζωή is ζωήν in koine, and you don't need the article την unless you want to say "the life" or it's a proper name.

This is a real prayer to God. I didnt know they had this song, would love to mix it with Metallica's cover Nothing else matters, perfect mix. This woman singing is a bit of gospel. When I die, I will switch this song on all of radios, so that everyone will know that I am dead. And on my funeral this together with "Nothing else matters".

It'd be nice to see actual gregorian version of this song. They did it great but it should have been translated into the Gregoric language (which more or less is Latin)
