The review was awesome! Just wish you could have did a camera view of the inside when the backpack was on its back, when you were showing the front access u-shaped zipper. I'm currently in Costa Rica shopping online, because they don't have any available locally.

I havent bought this pack yet, but i plan to. I was planning to get the Osprey Atmos, but i found that the frame was too stiff. As my hips went up and down, the pack would shift it's weight on my shoulders. The flexing waistband on the baltoro eliminated that. Looking forward to start hiking with the baltoro.

And?? 3 years on, what is your review ?? Bad good?? Is the back adjustable?? It doesn't look like it! So if you have a shorter torso, I'm buggered then no??

@@bluebellcrushedvelvet I just bought the 85 yesterday. I don't have a review yet, but I can tell you that the back on these packs is not really adjustable. They come in a few sizes, which you need to align with your torso length.

I would have liked to see the inside of the pack...I have an older Osprey Atmos 65 and the suspension system really protrudes into the pack, cutting down the available space. Considering switching to the Gregory Baltoro 75 and was curious if I'd be in for more of the same. Looks like a trip to local outfitter store for a hands-on look-see. Very good review.

Question: Is the back suspension frame adjustable?? What if you have a shorter torso??? And what about those smaller pockets?? Do they fit a regular sized phone (you know how phones nowadays are oversized!!) Seems like an amazing full featured backpack!! I just LOVE the Ingenious hidden water bottle compartment that's angled towards the carrier! That way it's so much easier to grab from the back the water bottle without dislocating the shoulder! 😝😂😂

The harness can be adjusted between two different height settings, allowing the user to adjust the torso length somewhat. Most pack manufacturers recommend selecting size based on torso measurement, rather than height or weight. If you have never measured your torso before, here’s a video demonstration: trailsense.enwild.com/how-to-measure-your-torso-for-backpack-fitting/. Once you know your torso measurement, you can choose between Small (best fits torso lengths ranging from 16”-18”), Medium (18”-20”) and Large (20”-22”) size options.

This is a video about the older, pre-2022 model Baltoro. The new models have a velcro sliding shoulder straps that let you dial in the fit a little better, though its still sold in S, M and L sizes based on torso length.

Are there two different versions of the baltoro 75L? This one has a stretch mesh on the middle and there is the other 75L without the centre stretch mesh.

The Large measures 81.3cm x 35.6cm x 34.2cm, and the Medium 76.2cm x 35.6cm x 34.2cm

Well, that depends on how long you think your sections will be and how much gear you need to bring. If you don't have camera equipment or anything that takes up extra space, the 65 should be enough. Looks like an awesome trek!

Oh one more question!!! Important!! You say you can change the straps and waist belt!! To what size?? Smallwr or larger?? And also, more importantly, do you have to pay extra to get something that should fit automatically??!

The harness straps and hip belts are interchangeable, and come in the same sizes as the packs: Small, Medium, Large. The packs are fitted with the same size components as the pack itself. Alternatively sized components may be available from the manufacturer directly. Thanks for watching!

2022 update to the Baltoro has adjustable torso, but loses the raincover and sidekick pack, while increasing the price.

The Baltoros now have a front stretchy pocket like the Stout packs. The Baltoro packs will handle more weight than the Stout series.
