Most people don't realize how lucrative the religion "business" deal is. You literally can earn a hefty paycheck by extolling the virtues of one religion. Sometimes you don't even need to do that, you could just insult other religion to a specific audience and you'll be set for life. Dec. '97 @ a house show in Memphis. It was suppose to be DX vs. Lawler/Jarrett. Fans were throwing shit at DX when they were coming out. Shawn got on the mic and said "you just lost your main event!" and we were ripped off. The most pissed off I've ever been as a wrestling fan. Main event ruined b/c Shawn was such a baby when there have been numerous, more extreme cases of heat back in the day. Everything I heard about Shawn since then, I believed it, and it made sense after that show.

it's funny how some people here still defend shawn michaels DESPITE all of the bad things gregory helms has pointed out about him and how he exposed him for what he was. if shawn michaels was wrong with how he was towards others, then he didn't deserve to have it as good as he had it, and shawn, and the people who've talked good about him, would need to admit that shawn was wrong and that he made mistakes, and that he should've acted like a better person. but then again, gregory here seems to not realize that fighting doesn't solve anything, so in a way they're both wrong.

As far as I know i dont think Shane hates HBK anymore. I saw an interview with Helms where he said his son was sick in the hospital and HBK reached out to Helms to show support or whatever. Helms said since HBK did that, that just superceded all heat that they had. So they probably not best friends, but Helms doesnt bash HBK anymore like he used to lol

Things happen backstage that you will never know about. When you have multiple wrestlers who worked in close proximity with a person and they all say the same things about them, it's more believable than an HBK fan who has no argument. Once again I stress, you can be a great wrestler without necessarily being a great person. I am glad to see HBK has changed his life for the better, but that doesn't mean at one point in time that he wasn't a jerk.

@stat2k Stat, Helms is referring to many multiple incidents which were backstage and behind the scenes in which he personally witnessed how Shawn continued to backstab, used his politics and "stroke" with management to de-push wrestlers. One incident he mentioned was with Chris Jericho backstage in which Shawn and Jericho got into a backstage arguement, and Shane couldn't say anything because at the time he was getting pushed as the Hurricane.
