Bought Gregorys Baltoro 65 last year mainly because of your great videoreview on it. This summer me an my girlfriend need something less big and thanks again to your good job on showing every feature we'll be getting the Zulu 40 for me and the Jade 38 for her. Thank you and keep up your good work

There are no bottom straps! That’s insane. They think about many details but skip one of the critical ones. Osprey put that on all the bags regardless of the size.

Great video. Can you comment on which dimensions are different between the Zulu 35 and 40? Having a tough time deciding between the two

Hello! Would you say the differences from the previous model are worth the upgrade? Thanks in advance
@Enwild5 жыл бұрын
Hey, good question! The most significant update to the 2019 Zulu is the adjustable torso length. The Lumbar support has also been changed to foam covered by mesh, and the hipbelt now uses Gregory's Free Float system. This system allows the hipbelt to pivot and flex as you move. There are other "quality of life changes" but those three are the most noticeable. Tough question to answer with a simple yes/no. It's likely worth skipping the previous model if you don't have a Zulu yet

Hey @Enwild, which you recommend Zulu 40 or Paragon 38?
@Enwild Жыл бұрын
Great question! The Paragon 38 has been discontinued in the Paragon line, so that's a tough one to answer. Gregory has also introduced the updated Zulu series, which you can check out here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJDJiXimaKyCfdU. If looking for a 40 liter pack, the Zulu now comes in a 30 or 45, and we love them both!

Hi, can you tell me the minimum hight of the Zulu 40, please? I would like to take with me on the plane. I aimed for the optic 48, but it's to tall. Thank you and best regards :)

Hi Niklas, The dimensions for the Zulu 40 are: Small/Medium: 24" x 12.25" x 11" Medium/Large: 26" x 12.25" x 11" Here's a handy guide to the carry-on requirements of most airlines: travel-made-simple.com/carry-on-size-chart/

@@Enwild thank for the quick response. I didn't think that it is bigger than the optic 48. unfortunatly, my hight-limit for the backpack 21,5" or 55cm :(

@@Enwild I just got it, I love it. I am 1,81 cm and wanted to try the M_L size but more than one hop suggested me to get the S_M and adjust the torso at maximum, which I did and it fits well. What do you guys think? I believe at least I saved 5 cm for the airplane...

@@jacopodiclemente6790 If you think it fits well, then it fits well! Sometimes it pays to go with the smaller size to get a more secure fit. Happy Trails!

I'm likely too late, but thought I'd let you know the Tetrad/Tribute 40 is a similar bag around the 55cm mark 🌹 I was also looking for this type of bag, but within carry on restrictions, so was stoked when I found that 🌈 All the best with any post covid travels x

Does anyone know the length of the metal frame within the back pack in the Large (as appose to the packed length)? I am trying to determine whether i can pack this into an overhead.
@Enwild3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for asking! The dimensions of this pack in the size large are 26" x 12.25" x 11". Carry-on requirements and restrictions vary by airline and flight. We would recommend checking with your specific airline before choosing a carry-on bag. Safe travels!

Hi! What is the difference bet the sizing bet zulu 35 and 40? Thanks
@Enwild3 жыл бұрын
Hi Robby! the main dimension difference is depth, increasing from 9.5" on the 35 to 11" on the 40. The sizing remains the same between the two, with the Small/Medium fitting torsos 15" - 19" and the Medium/Large fitting torsos 18" - 22"

@@Enwild thanks, most of the available online is 35L, and my size is small, so i’m confused if 35 L will fit all the gears I needed as I have 40L jackwolf and enough for my needed gears. ❤️

For anyone else like me who loved the look of the support etc in this pack, but was bummed when realising it was too long for carry on - The Tetrad/Tribute looks like a possible alternative? - kzbin.info/www/bejne/nJCQqJaQitqBgJI 🌈
@Oddball5.02 жыл бұрын
It's not too long for carry on. I just took it internationally, carrying on on every flight. No problem even on full flights when they were making many others check their carry on suitcases. Just don't overpack it.
