DEEP DROPPING & JEW, COBIA, PEARL PERCH | Scorpionfish vs Pearl Perch taste test

Fishing off Moreton & Stradbroke Island we go deep dropping for bar cod, nannygai, pearl perch & more before fishing the shallows for jew and cobia. While fishing the deep a Striped Marlin eats the bait at 270mtrs down on the drop. A long and difficult battle was had on the Miya Epoch electric reel and after breaking two hooks off in the marlins mouth the 3rd hook ended up in its tail allowing us to land it. After swimming the fish back to good health we released it to live another day.

Great stuff Greg, and awesome job dealing with that Marlin! Current is still ridiculous here off Coffs atm, but another couple of weeks im hoping to get out into some deep dropping myself Loving the channel, you're definitely in my top 3 😊

its so interesting that I just fluked this video to have asked you about some electronics, But I would really like to see more. You hit a serious note there with taste testing fish, I have seen people rave about certain fish and bag others which I have to wonder how many times it was who cooked it and how they cooked it, I still stand on the fact that you cannot beat fresh caught and cooked for premium taste and flavor, Hey Listen I am willing to come and visit to give you my Expert opinion of your fish and cooking HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, it may take a few meals to decide LMAO Have a awesome day and fantastic easy watching fun with heaps of great tips and tricks Cheers Garry
