I love building these drives out myself. I have a small case with a 2TB SSD in it and I love the thing. Built an NVME SSD RAID for my work rig too. Saved hundreds of dollars.

I have a silly question. I have an old SSD with a factory heatsink. I want to use it for something but I don't have any systems at the moment that can take advantage of it. Do you think this enclosure can fit an SSD with pre installed heatsink? I mean it is ideal because it has a fan. The thickness of the SSD is about 1/3 or an inch or 8.4mm. I see that @danielng has a similar question.

Thanks for the video! Just got the case and wasn't sure how to open it 😅 For info, I put a (more expensive) 2TB Samsung 990 Pro inside and BM disk speed test showed 3182MB/s for write and 2909MB/s for read.
