To a dog it’s not about the kill it’s about the hunt. You can have them following a sent train to a balk and at the end of the day if there’s and interaction wether it’s right or shaking they will be happy. No pet dogs that sits around all day is fulfilled mentally and physically.

In Europe the two smallest would be common and boss would be used for rabbits as he's quicker, generally ratting is done with 7/8/9 terriers. Sherni wouldn't be used in these situations, that's not to say any dog can't go ratting but smaller dogs are better suited for it generally. Boss is a good breed to use as well tho as he has the greyhound genes, traditionally greyhounds aren't racing dogs they were hunting dogs

You can tell gremlin has a real love for it. She just needs a bit more confidence and that'll come with time and getting to work with the minks and other dogs as a team. She's learning her place in the pack yet

Gremlin did a great job for being so young and inexperienced. Neela is fast as hell and a vicious rat killer. Boss is king - great dog. The mink is beautiful, fast, and deadly. It's amazing how well they work together.
