But with the grace of God, I’m no longer that hurt little girl. I want to send my love and prayers to all who have been hurt in that way. My father passed October 21st 2018 so it's really close to 6 years without him, just listening to Pandora & this song comes on.. maybe some will call me crazy but to me it was a sign from my dad to keep going. This song broke my heart because it remind me when i was back in school and was pushed around and bullied told i was nothing and would be nothing i was already struggling with my parents splitting already and dealing with my feelings and hurt alone and people made it worse. Many times i remember holding a knife to my wrist and be bawling my eyes out cause i felt alone and felt like i would never feel the love i wanted from my parents and felt like it was better to just end it especially since my mom would be out of the house running errands felt that was the time to do it so no one would stop me. I also had two encounters with family that left me scared where i didnt like no one touching me. I am 27 years now grateful to God for being in that room with me letting me know things will get better and that it wasn't my time yet and i remember just crying cause i finally saw that i was strong and could get through it despite the pain.
