There is a film miniature museum in Lyon, France. They are buying up and restoring many cool filming models from various films.

Still one of the best channels on KZbin, you're doing a service to cinema history! Have always wanted to know more about the Gremlins 2 effects, it's such a fun audacious and ambitious film. This sequence is one of those where my mouth just dropped and I was left baffled-"How did they do that??"

Here I was girdingmyself for the end of these videos, and now there seems to be more of them than ever! Not complaining...if they're going out, at least they're going out with a bang!

Most of the last videos are all older ones I expanded and upgraded to better quality. This one is new because I finally found some great photos by the FX cameraman, Paul Gentry. Luckily, he snapped some photos while working.

Funny, even if I don't like the film, I still love the behind the scenes. Love this channel!

True! Though, this channel has budged me a bit the other way, giving the production a second look at least. Have rewatched and even picked up a few films just to check out the special effects 👍

This was an awesome clip. Wish they finished with the final filmed scene to compare but we can find it easily enough elsewhere on KZbin.

I try to avoid using clips from films because of copyright issues. The stories from the model makers about how it all was made was what interested me the most. I was able to use some clips for my French Dispatch and Asteroid City videos.

@@piercefilm I respect the reasoning. Not saying you should do this, but you could get away with a link to one in the description.
