ST. GEORGE’S SPICE MARKET: Here, we met spice vendors and handicraft vendors selling items like handmade sandals and masks. I tried ginger wine, sea moss wine, roasted ginger nuts, honey roasted nuts, sorrel juice, ginger beer, and a sea moss milkshake!
BB’S CRAB BACKS: At this seaside restaurant, I met BB and had a delicious Grenadian feast of rice and peas, goat curry, crab backs, bake, fried plantains, papadum, and mango chutney. It was incredible, but the star of the show was the tender and fatty goat curry…or is it curry goat?

This was really nice...so much spices...whenever you go Grenada ...you're sure to return with nutmeg/cinnamon/cloves....and the crafts ...beautifully designed Leather sandals ...Masks.and honey roasted nuts....and of course ginger and sorrel a must on almost every island...The rums looked really strong...have to eat something before you drink. A very good Friday morning David. Man, this was partly a roll on the floor with laughter video. Throw out the palm wine and bring on the sea moss. 🤣🤣🤣 I enjoy these Caribbean/West Indian videos so much because everything is so natural, simple and unadulterated: the food, the drinks, (that rum punch was a killer, too much rum), the fruits, vegetables, the people themselves. You could never meet a better and nicer bunch of people than us, island people. We tell it like it is. All the food that you and Nathan ate, and it was so nice to see Nathan, looked delicious. "CURRIED" goat!!! Loved the mask but I thought you would have bought the turtle too. It got a little emotional for me at the end when you gave Bryan a hug and he told you "to look after yourself". David, I always regretted that you weren't taken to a market on your visit to Trinidad, but I digress. Anyway, this one was a real hoot: the sea moss, man, the sea moss😱🤭😂😂😂. Hey David. Amazes me how you know the monetary conversions. You always get your masks. Could imagine your home. A wall or a whole room for masks. Pure vanilla from the islands on a whole different level than McCormick pure store brand. Those spice and sea moss rums are no joke. Could image those honey roasted nuts. Don’t care for Sorrell. But love ginger beer. Sea moss 👀😂. Never had Star fruit crab 🦀 back. The rum punch looked insane. BB’s throwing down in that kitchen. I didn’t know you could eat plantain skin. I don’t eat goat but I’ll tear up the gravy with the rice n peas 🙌🏼. Jerk chicken 🙌🏼. BB was so sweet when he said take care of yourself. Lovely vid David. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
