I think I'm running close to this exact list. Of course I have a few different versions. One with PidgeotEX and such. But this version is my favorite. And I think its slept on. Or the best builders in the game havent ran across the best way to play it yet. But I fully believe in this deck.

I love it but not sure how consistent it is without some real draw power. Yes you get the one card but you never know what’s gonna happen.

Goodness me, this deck is smooth as hell! I love the synergy between froslass and greninja ex. I love your play style too! Thank you for keeping it real my dude.

Hello, thanks for the video, I have been through a couple of Pokémon master channels because there is a tasty discussion about the damage that greninja ex does with its second attack if it has double turbo energy and is discarded, some propose that it is the damage calculation with -20 for the DTE and others that the DTE is discarded before the damage calculation so it does not subtract. what do you think?
@snipethebench5 ай бұрын
The first thing you do is announce the attack. Then the attack reads to discard 2 energy. Then finally you get to do the damage. I think since you discard the DTE before placing damage, it should be 120 and 120.

@@snipethebenchtotally correct…and it is covered in the advanced rules section…they conveniently mention special energy effects…and that is looked at as you said…after the energy is discarded…so no penalty 😇

I love how everyone thinks DTE reduces Greninja splash damage… There are two effect phase checkups…the first one looks at special conditions. The second, which would apply to DTE, occurs after the condition to use the attack, ie, discarding the energy occurs. It’s in the official rules under advanced rules and there is a section specifically dedicated to energy effects…and again, energy effects are determined after all costs and actions in order to use the attack are completed. Cheers doing 120 at your local leagues with Greninja using DTE!

I agree with you but Pokemon has said different.

@@snipethebench Advanced Rules of attacking Step E: “Do anything the attack requires you to do in order to use it… Step F: “Apply any effects that happen before damage”. Then steps 1-6 below that go into how to calculate damage from step F. DTE is discarded in Step E and before Step F. How is this not clear? The rules even clearly indicate in Step 5 in the process of calculating damage by specifically mentioning effects of special energies…and recall that the advanced steps of calculating damage occur in that order in Step F above.

I rly feel like Ogrepon/Raging Bolt decks always find what they need with no effort :D Happy these guys having fun with their decks, still hate to play against them xD

OHKO decks are always a hassle for these Stage 2s.

@@snipethebench OHKO I can live with. What tilts me how they can go for winning condition setup in 1 round. Many games feels like beeing a spectator not opponent.

It’s like the Roaring Moon deck last format.

Got one I just thought of. Don’t have any monkeys right now so can’t do it. Articuno with wild freeze. Kirlia for draw. You damage yourself with 50, the monkeys to move it off and they are frozen
@snipethebench5 ай бұрын
I will keep that one in mind.

I've been trying this today but it seems like the shinobi blades really make the opponent feel like playing an Iono lol I like the concept of the deck, but setting up the frostlasses while dodging one shots with Greninja is very tricky

This deck destroys Lugia. Never hit pokestop. It screwed you last game. If you had waited till the end to use greninjia you could’ve won the game. I saw somebody else do the same thing against that deck. It hit them on the bench for 120 each and they won.

First game couldn’t you get the last two prizes with doing forest stone VSTAR to grab that double colorless and hit their sandy and radiant Greninja for the win?
