I admit when the keys first started the song I was thinking "oh no, please don't do this to Everlong" but this take is really really awesome. You guys totally made it your own instead of standing in the shadow of the mighty Foo Fighters. Awesome job!

@@GamerGavin04 I think for most of us we like to hear a band's own interpretation of a song, that's why I love metal covers of The Cure or piano covers of The Toadies, I love to hear how a band puts its own slant on a song. But I can see where you are coming from, Gav, because a lot of the times someone butchers the original tune 🤣 Greta definitely did Everlong justice here.

I haven't heard a better Like A Version that deserves that name more! I initially bounced off it hard as the original is an all time favorite. But then I realized that this is not Today I Cover, it's LIKE A VERSION! Tribute the original and turn it into something new and own it. There are so many nuances in it that I had to listen to it several times to fully appreciate it. It creates that uneasy feeling of wanting to go all out while listening to the original but at the same time being held back and go with the flow of this beauty created here. So it perfectly captures how Foo's songs won't ever feel the same again after Taylor Hawkins passed away. Amazing job!
