I'm a long-time Led Zeppelin fan (age 61) and I love this band. Sure, their sound seems influenced by Led Zeppelin, but Led Zeppelin themselves were even more directly influenced by old-time blues artists. GVF has their own sound that I wouldn't mistake for Led Zeppelin, but is similar in its approach. I love it! And what great pipes the lead vocalist has!

They were influenced by LZ but have since moved on and now they sound exactly like GRETA VAN FLEET! Caravel and others from their new album ROCK!!! Take a listen! Josh's voice on Stardust Chords is AMAZING! Josh and Jake are Identical twins - Josh 5 minutes older than Jake. This band is FANTASTIC!

Good "Highway" songs means that it has a Feel like when you are driving fast down the Highway the tempo and beet makes sense. Like train chugging down the Rails powerful

If You want to hear the way that Greta is Maturing Musically you really need to listen to "Heat Above" It is amazing! Josh sounds like a cross between Freddie mercury, and Geddie Lee with a little Janis Joplin thrown in for the hell of it . These guys are EXACTLY what music needs in this age of Over quantized , Auto Tuned one night media wonders. They are bringing the classic rock sounds from the greatest era of music , and introducing it to an entirely new generation. Watch these guys . While others are out there trying to become the next media sensation. These guys are giving us free lessons in how to be the next musical legends.

I heard these guys for the first time about 3 years ago and being an old rocker who came up in the 60s and who felt like the music died around 1980 am glad to see these youngsters come along and put some edge back in the music and I don't think that they tried to sound like Led Zeppelin but the fact that they do share some similarities with them to me is not a bad thing to put it simply these kids rock

I can hear various influences in GvF music Obv Led Zepplin but also hint off Queen Each have own opinions I even hear parts reminded me of The Who All the bands,artists that's been mentioned are masters ,legends of their craft & not many if any could remotely sound as good .I hope this young band stay together have numerous Inc World Tours become great Stadium filling Band . Don't let music industry over commercialize them as flash in the pan Hope their mother reminds them brothers stick together along with other member who is brothers friend.If so 10 years down the line have number of top albums ,still headline festivals I believe managed properly GvF could become the real deal Song id like hear them cover is by Irish,Dublin band 1996-2006 called JJ72 song SNOW.

I never heard this band. They were pretty good. It is okay that they sound like Led Zeplin, but they have their own flair. If you heard the Foo Fighters did Bee Gees songs. They did great, but wiith the sound of Foo Fighters.

Led Zepplin was the best band ever IMHO. Who cares if another group like Greta Van Fleet sounds just like them? We will never hear another Led Zeppelin song as long as we live so for a band to come along that sounds SO much like them, to me, is fantastic! They aren't plagiarizing Zeppelins songs, they have their own style and the fact that he DOES sound just like Plant, to me is fabulous! In other songs they sound like Heart, Rush, and a lot of other older time bands but I don't hear anyone going on about that. Love this band!

Ugh. I never understood why Zep fans ripped on these guys. Firstly, Zep pioneered the sound, so if there were bands out there trying to sound like their influences, so f'n what. Secondly, imitation is the highest form of flattery. Thirdly, Plant himself was impressed and pleased by this band. So, your Zep god approves, so sit down and shush. Lastly, I'm NOT a Zep fan (the most overplayed band of the 70's. I don't have to search more than 5 seconds on the radio for a station blasting a Zep song). However, I cannot deny Zep's influence on the rock scene. You have these kids decades later releasing 60's and 70's influenced music and you're hatin' on them for it? Sounds like jealously to me.
