Yes, and I also vote for the album Jake mentioned, where it just keeps going from beginning to end with no breaks. Certainly wouldnt be radio friendly, but for those of us who BUY physical copies of an album and listen to it on quality stereo equipment, I know it would be incredible! Like riding a wave all the way into the beach. I would BUY both. ✌💗 & 🤝

@Mr. snickett don’t get me wrong, i love all of it those bands and Led Zeppelin in particular more than life itself, it’s just harder to get organic sound that these guys have in this climate. Since they went in their own direction, it’s becoming a well oiled machine with originality now involved that’s why I am excited for the first newer band i can appreciate

@Mr. snickett no it all hasn't been done! How could that ever be the case for anything creative? God forbid! GVF proves that, even as they evolve upon themselves, growth! Music, ie. Rock-n-roll never died, it's been continuously evolving, and GVF give the world their view and life experiences in music in the rock-n-roll genre, and the world is loving their unique point of view!! @Mr. snickett I've always enjoyed LZ, and yes, they've INFLUENCED many bands that came after them. But they are the GRANDFATHERS of rock and roll. Greta Van Fleet give credit to many genres that have influenced them, and Josh's voice has over a 2 1/2 octave range! He can easily sing in a higher register, so that's what he uses. LZ is the awesome past - GVF is the amazing future. I can enjoy both with no problem at all. ☮️

These people who keep saying rip off Led Zeppelin listened to one song and have defined the band by that one song. Do your damn research and listen to their other songs because your petulance is really starting to piss me off. I have been a huge Led Zeppelin fan since I was 12 and I can tell you that the new material and even some of the material on AOTPA sounds NOTHING like Led Zeppelin. I’m not a fan of there music, maybe I need to give them another chance. What I will say though, these guys are what’s helping keep rock alive, when bands like pearl jam and foo fighters have realeased their last record, gone in their last tour etc. Greta van fleet are still are still gonna be here. Rock will live on because a band like Greta van fleet will exist and from that we might get more rock bands back in the mainstream and hopefully stay rock unlike so many other bands. They’re clearly influenced by led zep, but what’s wrong with that? Would you rather them be influenced by nickleback or limp bizkit? Their leader singer sounds just like Robert plant did a in his prime, if he can pull of Robert plant how can anyone criticise? They’re a young band, they’ll have time to come more into their own. Until these guys came around you’d hear people talk about zeppelin saying « they don’t make em like this anymore « now that they do people don’t want to know. Don’t make much sense to me but there you go lol

If you really want to be honest you need to admit that when you first hit the stage with songs like Highway Tune, you sounded like you were raised specifically on Led Zeppelin vocals. It's the right thing to do. You have a wonderful voice, just need the emotional piece, so young is ok you don't have his sex appeal yet. Excuse my age, I have listened to so much music over the years. I am 70. I like it when my music gives me an emotional ride that matches a set of deep lyrics. I now have adult children and grandchildren who all love Led Zeppelin.

They're definitely a live band creating atmospheres with their music live. I hope they keep doing what they want without giving thought to writing hits. There's too much formulaic corporate pop music that _all sounds the same by design,_ like it's mind control tech.

Where does the Zepplin comparison come from? I just don't hear or see it...maybe the first song they released but not since then. The kid has a great voice and that is the only similarity I hear. Led Zep wore jeans and shirts. These boys are a little more dress up for the concert performance (the exception being shoes!). I wish them the fame, fortune and longevity Zepplin has had!!

I used Google translator so I hope it is correct, sorry: ¡Podemos decir que la querida Black Flag Exposition estará allí!

Finally! A good rock-n-roll interviewer! Edit: Also should have added, the album is the best rock album of 21st Century so far imo. Poetry and philosophy put brilliantly to music...

I am a 65 year old, woman and handicapped, I walk with a walker/cane; but, I would love it if my last adventure out of my home was to attend Greta Van Fleet concert. My only fear is being knocked down, but my husband will help me.

Um - is part of the process that you have to know what you want the end result to sound like? Sometimes I would imagine you would start at point A and end up at point W but it’s a growth and development process of one and the same music.

Search "Greta Van Fleet - The Weight of Dreams (Live at Red Rocks Amphitheater)". It's a song they use to play live, which is not included in any of their albums. It's 9 minutes (sometimes more), mostly instrumental and some lyrics from a song by Melanie Safka. It's a very special moment of their live shows. Fans were hoping to find it on the new album and so it is. They changed the title and lyrics

@@LadyVendetta74 AWESOMENESS! I just listened to it. Thanks so much for taking the time to answer my question. I’ve been a fan of GVF since the very first EP and was totally confused by the “Black Flag Exposition” title. Appreciate your answer. ✟God Bless✟
