I’m 64 years old, and I love this band. It’s awesome to hear young musicians who are making music on their own terms. It was tempting but unfair of the public to initially label them as Zeppelin imitators. I’m elated that this new album further proves their abilities as players and songwriters. They’re not a flash-in-the-pan. After many years of crappy mainstream music, we have a great band whose music we can look forward to hearing. Thanks to these young artists for the music!!!

I totally disagree with you. You know, this song really is a great composition work and autoral. But listen to the other songs of this album and this is what this band is: generic Zeppelin imitators. I Like Greta, but this guys should improve and get mature if they want to loss this stigma

@@rafaelverli5003 what other zeppelin imitator bands have gotten as far as Greta van fleet...... led zeppelin had inspiration from other bands maybe people even thought they copied....they're a good band and haven't copied anything of zeppelins ...voices sound similar yeah but who cares. They're good, theyre gettin somewhere, because they do have their own creativity along with some inspiration that's a give in and all artists have inspiration.

I feel like they bridge the gap between those who got to experience amazing rock music in the 70s and 80s, with those of us who have an appreciation for classic rock but weren’t yet born. Just incredible instrumentals and voice control. I haven’t met a Greta Van Fleet song I don’t like.

I was born in '81. My favorite band ever is Van Halen. I was so fortunate that my parents listened to anything from Zepplin, Styx, AC/DC, Kiss, Sabbath, basically all the 70s and 80s stuff. Even some late 60s rock. From there I got into Metallica and all the big 80s metal bands and so on. Because of them, I love all the classic 60s, 70s, rock. It really is the best rock ever made. Eddie Van Halen stole my heart though. Greatest guitar player ever to me!

1:40 Something about that little ‘tck,’ the first chord on the riff, just gets me. It’s so simple but it sounds incredible, and gives that little extra kick to the bridge itself. I don’t even know what goes into making that sound on the guitar, what string you might have to pull or what chord you play. But either way just that little adjusted sound gives a whole other energy to the riff itself. It’s kind of incredible how one little half second noise can have such an impact.

these guys are so raw and unfiltered. breaks the normal structure and this album sounds even more unique. should shut the "Greta van zeppelin" haters up. these songs touch you more than the first album/EP, that's what music, what rock, is supposed to feel like

Unless Zeppelin complains, I could care less about all of these other whiners. Zeppelin is probably Robert is probably playing this album as we speak. And loving it!

Actually, the production needs a lot of work, along with the vocals and lyrical content. But I mean, that’s cool if you’re so insecure that you wanna try and dismiss any critics as “haters” and “whiners”. There is no such thing as “real rock”. Lots of rock acts have been doing a better job at not only keeping rock alive, but also pushing its boundaries in creative ways. Something GvF fails to do more often than not. That being said, though I usually don’t like this band, this is the only song I’d consider downloading. It’s probably my favorite of theirs up to this point. They have potential, but their fans are largely elitist jerks that are ironically the reason rock is dying in the first place

K lee What I admit is that they’re not amazing and have potential along with a lot of work to do. Such as why I say “largely” jerks, because I don’t like to generalize. I have friends and family who love GvF.

Holy shiiiiit is it me or I hear Rush in the beginning of the song? people always mention the fact that they sound exactly like Zeppelin but depending on the song I also hear different influences. Ohhh well I'm just glad to have some new rock music to listen to!!

What a powerful track. I am getting some Yes vibes with this. Now I will have to go listen to Roundabout after I finish listening to this awesome album. My CD copy was just delivered and will be in heavy rotation for quite some time. The artwork is stunning as well. Bravissimi, ragazzi. If you have Greta gear, wear it today.

I'm not a "rock-guy". My taste in music is spread wide. But this stuff is playing for 2 days now! It's getting you, fresh texts, nothing you can directly see it's copied! They remind me of so many bands out of my parents time, classic earned stars! You can just get "flowed" away...its awesome! Thanks!
