It makes it sound more natural and like it's recorded all from the same take rather than mixing and matching audio from different takes like many do today. Not having that cheating technology is why the Beatles have different takes for a lot of their older songs that sound either almost identical or wildly different from the released versions.

The resemblance is hard to deny, but it's part of what attracted me to them in the first place. Being compared to one of the best rock bands in the world is a compliment. To me, these guys are the best of two worlds. It makes me nostalgic for the music of the 70's, but it's new and something I've never heard before all at the same time. I hope they have a very long career of putting out some of the best rock I've heard in years.

Exactly! People don’t seem to understand that you can’t change your voice unless done so artificially (which is hard and expensive). @@granthamlin8126 love that Tool is releasing new stuff but I am also keeping my ears and eyes on this Ukrainian metal band called Jinjer. This band was very little known over a year ago in the USA and will be headlining a 6 week tour in small venues at the end of this month. I got my ticket to see them in Baltimore on Sept 29th. This is the best time to get to listen to this up and coming metal band because you can get tickets really cheap at these small venues. Once they make it big their ticket sales at these large venues will be a lot higher like they are for Tool and GVF. I don't think GVF fans on average would be too much into Jinjer's music but a majority of Tool fans will love Jinjer's music. A cheap but very good and super talented artist for GVF fans, who I am seeing in 1 hour headlining a blues festival in Phoenixville Pa is Samantha Fish. Samantha Fish is killing the game in the blues music world and blues music is a great genre that isn't mainstream and definitely isn't going to kill your pocket book at the same time. Blues musicians like Samantha Fish you more than get your money's worth at her shows.

It was a feeling I likened to being at someone's backyard party. Very chill and relaxed (except for the older group of guys that thought they were at a motley crü show possibly and wanted to pick a fight because we wouldn't let them barrel past us *noted stay away from guys in there 40s with AFFLICTION shirts and bedazzled Jean's at these shows,) )
