Tom, I love your reviews. You have a level head and don’t overanalyze things. You also like all types of games and don’t favour one genre over another. Your input is always valuable to me. I want to let you know, however, that it’s very easy to know right off the bat if you like a game or not. If you hate tje game you speak of it in a slightly condecending tone in the presentation and kinda toss the bits around in a sloppy manner when going through it. If you love a game there will be something in your voice from the beginning. You sound inspired! Like you are really inspired to show this off to us. I mean, I understand. It’s much more fun to talk about good games than bad games. Just wanted to let you know that I’m onto you. Keep up the great work!

Played at GenCon and I was pleasantly surprised at the fun in this game. Its silly and fast, but enjoyable.

About what I expected, chances are the 5 current dislikes are the 40k Super Fans who back and love everything regardless of whether it's worth it or not. When I saw their rather bad explanation video I was pushed away from this game and waited on a review to see if my impression was correct or not.

Without regard to the game play itself, that actually seems pretty thematic. Gretchin are micro orcs, and if orcs arnt smart..... well... these guys are worse. Couple that with the fact that you cant really expect orc weaponry to work all the time... Its a surprise that the buggys work so well. I will disagree with Tom though, this dosnt seem like a puzzle game. It seems like a party game. Have a few drinks, get loud, throw dice. I dont know if it would have any longevity, but it could be nice for a filler, a couple of grog'd up hooligans, and some loud fast fun.

Actually Gretchinz are the smarter component of Ork society; in the fluff of the past the Gretchinz dominated Ork society.

Thats much different than I remember, when they were stuffing them into cannons, chucking them off catapults, and constantly feeding them to squigs.

Myles Buck Grots never ran Ork society, that was the Snotlings. Gretchin have always been pets/servants/target practice.

Sure but does thematic mean fun? If there was a board game based on the life of male lions where you did absolutely nothing in 90% of your turns that would be thematic, but it wouldn’t be fun. 😁
