This sound never gets old to me...Sonically, the only thing missing to hear was a Les Paul on the bridge pickup with that honkin midrange, while also having a bite. That Gretsch, like the playing was absolutely smokin though.

Nice playing. I have the same Gretsch only in the burgundy sparkle. I just put TV Jones in it, but the blacktops were just as good. You just can't go wrong with a Gretsch.

Witam, dodam jeszcze, że pan Curtis korzysta z dźwięków z pentatoniki. Są one tak czysto dobrane i trafione, że tworzą czystą melodię idealnie w tonacji i rytmie bluesowym. Wymaga to pracy ale jest możliwe dla gitarzysty. Też gram na gitarze ale uczyłem się tylko ze słuchu. Można zawsze nadrobić zaległości. Pozdrawiam!@@losaviobartolomeo599

Nothing beats a Gretch for classic rock-n-roll licks. That music is just fun. Even though I play mainly jazz on a Sheraton pro II, I love my 5422tdc mich more when I just want to cut loose and have fun. Nice use of Wah!

My 5422 arrived today! I just found your video comparing this Gretsch & a LP then I checked out your video's, found this one and thought your guitar looks black until I realized that it's the same as mine Dark Cherry Metallic aka : black cherry baby (that's her name); this guitar is sweet & Your Rippin it up Man! I only hope I can do some justice to mine; in any case it's a blast and Gretsch is the B-bomb they r killing it on all counts completely knocking out the competition!
