Hi Glenn, I just ordered my 1st Gretsch “ Wood Snare” I commented about my latest Black Copper & got a great deal on a new retro 60’s finish Gretsch 14x6.5 USA Maple/ Gum w/ die cast hoops / 42 strand wires/ internal muffler/ 10 lug/ micro strainer. All the options Gretsch could offer..

Hi Glenn I have 3 Metal Gretsch snares & wanted to complete by purchasing a 14x6.5 Gretsch wood snare which do you recommend? I was thinking of a USA Maple/ Gum because I like the 42 strand wires / die cast hoops etc? What’s your thoughts?
