I bought a 1960 Gretsch White Falcon for $300 in 1993 ( yes I know it’s crazy) and pawned it over 20 times because of addiction. I always got it back and probably paid for it in full many times over in interest. Now I’m over 10 years clean and sober my Gretsch means even more to me. The best sounding guitar I have in a collection of 14 guitars ranging from Fender strats to Gibson 335’s and Les Pauls to Gretsch Duo Jets. The White Falcon reigns supreme!!!

Yes but George always wanted a Fender Stratocaster at that time. Even when he owned the countryman he still wanted a Stratocaster but couldn't afford it at the time.

How come he uses Dynasonic pickups, yet the Gretsch "nick 13" model has Filtertrons?
@bciecko13 жыл бұрын
I'm surprised they didn't put the Dynasonics 2k's on his signature.lodels.since he's clearly a single coils guy. Or even the HiLo'Tron at least. Putting blacktop Filter'Tron into every elwctromatic is kinda boring, especially when there are so many options of Gretsch pups.
