you are absolutely right. I have 5 inches of silver white hair with a skunk stripe at the front - with level 5/6 brown hair. I dont want the grey blending thing cuz I dont want to be grey. Id rather the bright blonde babylights. That in itself is a transition. Who has $3,000 plus travel expenses to blow on hair. We are real people
@hairbykristijennings66483 жыл бұрын
Yes exactly, not everyone can do that. And I feel bad when people want to come in and ask for that and im like that's literally thousands to do that job. We need a realistic transition.....

@@hairbykristijennings6648 so true. I followed your videos for 6 months. Bought everything i needed to transition 26 inches of level 4 hair box dyed from way back when with 5 inches of white grey roots. I lifted miraculously to a 10 in front. 9 in back. I used the low n slow blondme 20 vol and olaplex just like you always say. I Skipped the fanola no orange shampoo used fibre fix by fanola instead. Added a dash of clear to the formula and voila! I got a beautiful light sheer blonde with a hint of gold. And i love it. Its a big step on thick dark wavy curly hair. It'll be some months before i go back in with the foils again. I may not. But its a happy medium and the heavy line of demarcation is unnoticeable. You should consider teaching. Because you give practical real world advice and I cant thank you enough. And my pocket book thanks you too.!

Absolutely beautiful, Kristi!! Thi is exactly what I need!! Lol. I need to blend the gray hair in with my dark hair. However, I don't know how to do that. So, I just color my entire head medium brown to cover the gray! 💖💖💖

I am Albino and this technique helps me able to dye my hair dark! It’s great! I struggle with looking bald when my hair grows in because it is so ungodly light in comparison to any color I put on my hair that’s a level 8 or darker.

Hi.. I've been watching your work.. You are so smart.. you help me out to figure out problems I've have. I'm wondering about the price.. Is there any difference price between regular partial highlighting and Back to back patial babyhighlight . I think it needed to be carge more..
@hairbykristijennings66482 жыл бұрын
Oh yes DEFINITELY.... partial $100, ful $130, partial babylights $120, ful babylights $150. That doesn't include toner extra bleach, etc.....

if my grow out is a white gray, would you put the lightener on it or start below it and just tone it with the rest?

I so wish you could sort my hair. I ask for grey blend, my natural is quite dark with silver strands, with silver front front sections. They pack the baby light foils so much I always get a demarcation growth. Eventually the dimension is lost and I want to break the bleach up so they try lowlights which always fade warm…. I can’t win and seem to go round in circles 😩

I guess I don’t understand why she has to have all those foils? Is it because she wants lighter hair? Or do you have to color her grays to get them to color??

I don’t know the damn difference between a baby light, hi light, balayage and seems everyone calls it something different. It’s crazy. Some tease at roots, never understand why some do and some don’t.

Actually it’s really good. Go look at minute 29:00 when it’s in natural light. It blends perfectly. We’re blending grey….. it’s a multiple session process and I’m assuming you didn’t watch the full end of the video where I explain it takes time. So thanks for your rude comment.
