I'm in my 60's and I've had this fragrance in my life for over half of it. Is it old school...yes but I think it's one of the most dignified fragrances that I've ever smell. It smells like a well dressed and confident man who knows how to carry his self in any situation!

I wasn't a huge fan of this when I was younger, but something happened along the way and I started to really appreciate this in my early 40s. I'm in my 50s now, and when it gets cold out here in San Diego, I'll wear this with my flannel jacket. Great stuff.

Absolutely love Grey flannel. It's my 'formal' favourite between november - march. For warmer weather its has to be Bowling green. Geoffrey Beane is definitely an old school fragrance house, for old school gentleman but now I'm in my 50's I'm happy to be part of that club. Another great review buddy

So happy u have come around. The silly 'Grey Flannel challenge' made me lose respect for the youtube fragrance community when I first started watching. GF is an awesomely timeless and classic fragrance for the classy, sophisticated formally attired gentleman. A masterpiece.

I'm in that place where I'm really digging these vintage and mature type fragrances lately. Picked up a few in the collection recently. Others were Azzaro Pour homme and Versace l'homme. The green fougeres were quite popular. The leader of men kinda feel to these. Thx for the reassurance on the support of this cologne.

Had this fragrance in late 80’s. Purchased it again a few years ago. Totally understand people disliking GF, but I’d consider it a masterpiece.

I've had a bottle of this for a little over a decade, though I'm old enough to remember a lot of people wearing it back in the '80s. I almost never reach for it. While I appreciate it for what it is, I find it difficult to wear. But your review inspired to put it on for the first time in ages and I like it much better than I thought I did.

Noticed Grey Flannel back in the 80's, but didn't get a bottle until a few weeks ago (april 2023), and I must say that I was very surprised how much I liked it. I'll keep this in my collection permanently.

I wore it in the 70s, and I recently started wearing it again. Put it in a Tom Ford bottle, and people would pay hundreds for the bottle. It is a good fragrance...one you can get for pennies. And you are right, the bottle is nice looking. Some reviewers say the bottle is not nice. They are wrong. For pennies!

The 8oz splash bottle is well worth checking out too, it's a bit different than the spray bottle. The splash is more punchy, woodier and doesn't have as much of a powdery dry-down as the spray bottle.

I agree that if this fragrance was released today by a hot niche house, it would sell for a lot more. I didn't like it at first but eventually months later appreciated it.

It was the toughest bugger to sport in comparison with the kourous and farenheit in 90s. Bought my only bottle 27 years ago. It took me a long time to be sporting it, at ease. But even then you could only apply 1 spray and that too on the coldest days of the year. It took me atleast a decade to empty the bottle. I hope it is watered down by now. And, if it is then it shall be worth buying again as it still is being sold at 17 dollar's. Thank you Joy Amin for bringing back such beautiful memories of literally the Tweed's and the grey flannel 🤠

Hey Joy I like your content but the way you digress and take such a long time can really weigh heavily on the patience of your subscribers. I think instead of impromptu and off the cuff stuff you should edit and reduce the length of your videos to keep them crisp and precise.

@@larryd473 The only satisfaction that Fragrance gives me is it reminds me of my father and his stubble. It instantly brings me back to me l my child hood. But I thought it smelled weird then.
