All the BPC samples are so helpful! I have several (bottles, gulp) of the ones you swatched and the rest have been on my watch list. Had the same "wait are these the same" reaction to Ploughman's Pebble and Salt Marsh.

I honestly thought something was wrong at first with those two!

The drying shifts are very interesting. And the differences between the mass tones and the written lines is cool, too. In watercolour those 'dots'' are referred to as 'granulation'.

I love interesting shifts when ink dries, it just adds to the experience. I didn’t know the dots had a name - thank you for sharing that with me! I need to learn more about watercolor. It has really been interesting to me lately.

Grey ink forever! I also have multiple versions in my collection, write with grey gel pens, and when I’m typing a document I change the color to very light grey. I have a nearly-full bottle of Lunar Dust that I rarely use if you’d be interested in a trade. 😊

Love gray ink! Gray ink club! I have to find a place for more bottles before I get anymore. I have played tetris with my ink bottle drawer successfully so far, but I think I have to face reality now and look at expanding.

Loved the washes. I definitely will be trying that with my inks.

I am glad you liked them! Sometimes I feel a little silly doing them because they don’t really have anything to do with how the inks write, but they are fun to do ◡̈. Some inks have some serious surprises hidden that come out in a wash.

You are welcome! The color shift was so big I had a hard time showing it any other way

I recently accidentally ordered all pink inks. Ha ha.

Hahaha how does that happen? I don’t think that is the first time I have done that either!
