The one thing I think is important to remember when you go silver is you can easily get washed out looking. Because our skin can go lighter too as we age. So make sure you have color on your cheeks and lips if nothing else. I love playing with makeup so I love a little drama to the eyes and lips. Those are my best features and love to play them up.

Yes!!! Color on my lips and cheeks is critical! Otherwise, I feel so pale and washed out. It really makes a world of difference :)

I know this is an older video, but I just loved this video about doing what you love. We seem to like a lot of the same makeup and colors. I have had grey hair for about 6 years and just love it. I also love wearing eye shadow and blush that makes me happy.

I noticed that in 2018 Paul McCartney decided to stop dying his hair. His grey hair looks awesome on him! FYI: Several years ago I decided to do the same, and once I did some of friends at church did the same. Every time the grey was very flattering to the girls. Oh one of sisters decided grey wasn't so bad and within the last couple of months she went with the grey, and honestly, it's awesome.

I use exactly the same tarte blush in “Natural Beauty”. I like a clear, light red and this color is perfect. ‘Have used it for as long as tarte has made it. And I love your brows! ‘Wish they were mine 😊 Yes, I want my eye liner, too, but I threw away my eyelash curler a long time ago.

I have been looking for a good foundation for a while. I decided to try the Tarte line because your complexion actually looks very natural. I love it. I also bought the NARS lipstick and the lip gloss colors that you use because I like the tint of color.

OMG Renee! I have been using the Cherry palate you show for two years and LOVE it! Urban Decay has the best eye shadow and the brushes are GREAT! L'Oreal and Lancôme are owned by the same company in France. Their mascara is very good. I also use L'Oreal Voluminous in black. I am a blonde and only have a small amount of grey in my temples which is under my blonde hair so it is not noticeable, and I am older than you. I cannot wait to try some of the other products you use. Tarte products I have not used lately, but the blush is enticing and I will buy it.. Where did you get the make-up mirror? You look great, very healthy and natural but most of all I like your attitude.

Yay! I love this. Thanks for showing that warm colors *do* look great on gray-haired women. That spot between the eyebrows: I put a dab of a lactic acid cream there at night. It seems to thin out the skin so the creases are less noticeable. I like ond's Rejuveness because it's cheap and it works. Thanks again for showing how you play up your good looks!

I'm not fully grey yet I just have a mallen streak and a few other greys. I've actually just started wearing makeup again after twenty years without it. I just thought that my face could do with some colour and I wanted to look more girlie. I don't wear eyeshadow due to allergies. But I'm loving trying different lip and blush colours.

I love the Tarte Amazonian Clay powder foundation. And please note: a little goes a long way! Just have a small amount of powder on the bamboo brush. It spreads easily also. You can always add more so just make sure not to overdo when you get the powder on the brush. But I really enjoy the way it feels on my face. It's very light but covers well. And it stays put all day long!

Such a fun video Renee, I have always loved makeup and plan to have fun experimenting during my gray hair transition. I don't curl my eyelashes anymore because they started falling out! I now use an eyelash serum to help my lashes grow. I use a brow serum for my brows as well because they were thinning. The serums have worked wonders.

Thank you for this video!! I’m definitely going to look into the Urban Decay eyeshadow palette and the Anastasia brow shadow. My eyebrows are driving me crazy! They will be silver faster than my hair. I felt like my face was disappearing with my fair skin, dark hair and silver brows. I’ve used an eyelash curler for thirty years as my eyelashes grow straight down. It does make a difference. I’m four months into growing out the gray. Purchasing some fun new cosmetics (that I thought I was too old to wear) will make it easier. I’ve decided to embrace my wavy/curly hair as well. 🤣

Yes....and you must get the brow brush too. The small angled brush is a must when using her brow shadow. Another good eyeshadow brand is TOO FACED. They have some great palettes also....I love one called JUST PEACHY :)

Hi Connie! Eyelash curler....gosh, I think I got it at Walmart? And the wooden box that holds my brushes was something I picked up in TJ MAXX. I just needed something small and cute. I think it's actually a pencil holder or desk organizer, but I use it for my makeup brushes 😁

I have especially dry skin on my cheek area...do you find the Tarte powder foundation to look cakey? Up until a year ago I always used a mineral powder foundation, but stopped when it started looking too powder-y on my face. I haven't found a new type of foundation I like yet and I miss having that coverage. Like you, I like an easy to do look that I use everyday. I don't like liquid or too dewy of a look. Hi Melissa!!!! Sometimes I do get a slightly cakey look under my eyes IF I haven't moisturized my eye area properly. When I notice this....it's a reminder that I'm not taking care of my face at night. But generally I do not notice the Tarte foundation looking that way. Years ago, I used a mineral powder foundation and had to stop for this reason. Not sure what is so different about the Tarte.....but I'm always happy with the look.

May I add another comment? I do think you are ready for a taupe or lighter brown eyebrow color powder. Even going lightly with those darker colors seems to be too stark for your silvers surrounding you face. Just a tip..of course you must do you. :)
