for clarity: in the "fight first" phase, active player picks first, regardless of how many fight firsts or what fight first rule there is- minus stooping dive which is specificly before this. (which is the charger, in this case) in the "fight normal" phase, the defending player picks first In the "fight last" phase, the active player picks first So cult of strife, despite fighting first, would still have fought after the interceptors because they charged and had "fight first" as well. The rule that Mark read was if you have instances of fight first and fight last stacking. One tiny extra thing; Purifiers can't be given the rapiers (or any other brotherhood) stratagem because they don't have the tag. They're "Honoured Knight" units. Yeah. It's very sad.

@@DiceCheck Page 228 Core Rule Book "Starting with the player whose turn is not taking place, the players must alternate selecting an eligible unit from their army and fighting with it (see right). This means that technically if it is your turn and your opponent has a fight first rule, he/she goes first. Also same wording on page 72 Chapter Approved Grand Tournament 2021

@@ronaldhand5547 Some rules allow a unit from your army to always fight first in the Fight phase, even if they didn't make a charge move this turn. If the enemy has units that have charged, or that have similar rules, then alternate selecting units to fight with from amongst these units, starting with the player whose turn is taking place. It's in the rules appendix/rare rules section. *(note that that section is immidiately followed by another paragraph explaining that you do the same thing for "fight last")

Hey Magikarp, I noticed that you were making 6 attacks with the normal dreadknight on the Chronos in turn 3, just FYI, they have 5 attacks at top bracket. I made the same mistake in my own Grey Knights as well so no sweat. It was still an absolute amazing game.

1:56:00 I don’t have the Drukhari codex so I can’t confirm the wording, but on most of the data sheets I’ve seen where a character has the option to take a relic weapon such as the Tryptic Whip, it usually replaces the original weapon you have to have to get access to it. So in the case of using the Metallotoxin, the Succubus would be able to use the other weapon she has, the Archite Glove, but not the Agonizer since I’m guessing the relic whip replaces the Agonizer

In turn two, both cronos would have failed, both had a 6" charge but even with the reroll he only rolled an 8, and fly in charge doesn't ignore terrain, so they would have a 9 inch charge, as it would be 3" down and 6 inch forward.

It's the issues with basic rules like fight first that make these hard to watch. GW very clearly broke out the 3 stages of fighting and how fight first/last work... The succubus does not fight first when charged by the GMNDK and the Purifiers.

The Succubus would fight first as the player whos not the active turn gets priority on the fight phase. both units had "fight first" so tie goes to the Succubus
