My friend showed me this song, at the time I had a completely one-sided crush on him and the lyrics spoke so much to how I was feeling about the situation, and so I fell in love with this song. He passed away very tragically two weeks ago, and the lyrics have taken on a whole new meaning to me that I will never hear this song the same again. I miss him every day, and as of right now I still break down every time I hear this song. I still love it, it's a beautiful piece of art that is only in my life because of my friend who I loved, and I'll always cherish the memories of driving around with him listening to this. Thank you Orla, this song is a gift beyond words.

It's 1:30 in the morning and I'm teetering on the edge of a panic attack because I can't stop thinking about how much of a freak I am because it's like I have two modes. 1:robotic,stern,cold,seemingly emotionless, too honest, socially inept 2: Super loud, annoying, overly emotional, theatrical, over dramatic and childish, really outgoing The second is like a failed attempt at a mask,I try to act like "normal" people do but then I end up being a little bit too dramatic or theatrical and it tends to drive people away I can't find a balance inbetween the two, this song is exactly how I feel. I've been trying to find a way to put it into words and I finally did. Thank you Orla for writing such beautiful and meaningful songs,You may not know it but they really truly help people ❤
