so powerful...so many things happened in this scene...Christina became exactly what Teddy was mentoring her to be...she did every single thing right...and in that moment..Teddy is overwhelmingly happy and also devastated because she knew that Christina was Teddy in that OR...and that Henry's death was nothing but simply his body not able to survive...She is relieved that she did the right choice by choosing Christina to do the surgery and Christina proved that she was a master...the student had become a master in the moment...Teddy can finally let it go and grieve knowing there was nothing more that could have been done and Christina did everything Teddy would have...so the tradeoff is Christina finally reaching the level that Teddy wanted her to be at but at the cost of her husbands death to show for it...regardless if he lived or not..Christina proved all along Teddy was right about her...this is one of my favourite scenes and it is incredibly acted

This episode made me feel sad. To April, it seemed that Teddy was torturing Cristina for what had happened to Henry, but something tells me that Cristina knew. She knew what Teddy was doing, it was just going to take a lot of time for her to realize the reality of what happened. Teddy was looking for consistency, she was looking for a possibility, she wanted an explanation. However, the reality of it was, he just died, just as Teddy had said. When grieving though, it is hard to deal with the truth of what happened because you don’t want to believe it. Cristina retelling everything in surgery was Teddys way of being there and knowing the life of her husband until he died. She just couldn’t believe it until this scene where it all finally settles or hits. Teddy was grieving and Cristina wanted to help her. Incredible surgeons. Brilliant actresses.

It's scenes like this that make this show amazing. The heartbreak in her voice, knowing that Christina did literally the same thing that Teddy would've done in that situation. It not only goes to show the level of respect that they have for each other, but it shows how much of a good teacher Teddy was for Christina to know that she can do the job and that she's going to be great.

This scene was so sad and perfect. I love the soft piano that plays, teddy admitting to yang that she did everything that could've been done but yet he still died. It was inevitable. Those are the worst deaths especially when you love a person so much. I love Kepner in the background too. This scene was so emotional. I love scenes like this in greys although they are sooo sad. The scene is reaching really close to replace my favorite scene which happens to be on season 3 episode 1; Time has come today. Izzie is still laying on the floor and it's Meredith's turn to speak to her. She ask why is this happening. Where is Denny? Meredith's reassures her that she is not alone and it will be okay. ♡ I have many other favorite scenes but that one will aways be a favorite. Along with this one. ♡ :')

I am at Season 8 Episode 11 after Kepner interrupted Yang because she was so tired of Teddy asking Yang to repeat the steps. This is the dramatic part of the story, she could've asked her to do it in private. But, she asked Yang to do it in the OR... I mean... If I was there, I'd be too stressed out too just like Kepner. Who wants to hear someone repeating something over and over again for more than 1 session. Goodness. Drama lol.

I watched Teddy continuously berate Cristina and make her repeat over and over the procedure in detail, for days and days, it was upsetting to me. The fact that Cristina allowed it and kept doing it until Teddy told her she didn't do anything wrong, proves that although not depicted in that way, that Cristina is a good human being and has a heart deep inside. She didn't want to add to Teddy's hurt and Cristina respected her.

Even tho I understand she was in grief, it was twisted, unethical and simply cruel. Yes she was grieving, she was trying to understand but she was pushing her grief, unintentionally, towards Christina and April ( who was in the OR as a student ). See it in any way you want, you can understand and feel sorry for her. That doesn’t mean it was okay. A psychologist would have definitely pull her away from any surgery and Christina company afterwards.

Teddy (navy blue) is Christina (Light blue) mentor in cardio-surgery. While Teddy was in surgery, Christina had to operate on Teddy's husband. He died during surgery, Christina waited until the end of Teddy's surgery to tell her. Teddy asked Christina to describe to her step by step how the surgery went, searching for a mistake, something they did wrong, someone to blame.
