Forgot to mention Snow Leopard is more closely related to Tigers than real Leopard. Basically, tigers who got remained isolated in extremely high altitude regions of Himalayas slowly transformed into modern day snow leopards. Amazing cats!!

I've worked with wolves and wolf-dogs. They're unbelievably quick, smart, agile, and strong. Their jaws are much stronger than a dogs and can crack the thighbone of a moose, a 900-1500 lb animal (males). A wolf would decimate a large man with ease. That being said, the snow leopard is equally quick and also immensely powerful, although the wolf has the stronger bite. Even though the wolf is smarter, the snow leopard's claws make the difference here. As much as I love wolves, my money is on the snow leopard.

@@randyland1113 Clouded leopards are about 50 lbs. Snow leopards can be up to 120 lbs, a similar size to grey wolves. I like wolves better, but I have to be realistic. The snow leopard is the most likely victor. Just because I like an animal doesn't mean it's invincible.

Snow leopard would win, wolf only hunt and fight in groups so one on one they would loose with every big cat (maybe except for cheetah and bobcat). Wolf bite force wouldn't help him much too, look at hyenas and lions. Hyenas have greater bite force, but hyena will always loose one on one with lion. Cats are naturally more powerful like canines so I don't think wolfe have much chances against snow leopard.

Wolf . Why ? First the cat is not stupid enough to deal with a animal with a giant bite force . Second snow leopards are not known to pass 130 lbs while a wolfs average size is 70-180 lbs. Third , a wolf will almost certainly have others near it. Fourth , even in a 1 v 1 a cat that coexists with wolves knows the threat of a pack so if the wolf lands a solid bite the cat knows its fucked if it does not get out fast enough so it will run like the wind to a nearby tree and stay there for hours waiting for the wolves to go away. The cat is more flexible but it does not have a bite as strong as the wolfs and it does not have his homies near so wolf end of story

Think about this, a solo coyote, would typically stray away from adult cats because they know they will get seriously injured by the claws and speed of a cat... Snow leopards are rather small. I don't believe for a moment it could kill a wolf. It doesn't have the equipment it would need to fight another large predator. Snow leopards are regularly killed by mastiffs. It's actually a big problem on the Tibetan plateau. If a mastiff can kill a snow leopard, so can a wolf. Despite what this video claims, there are NO RECORDED INSTANCES WHATSOEVER of a snow leopard fighting and killing a wolf, let alone doing so "most of the time".

But honestly some experts think that if cats didn't have razor sharp claws it would be a 50/50 chance for the wolf to win and also for the leopard, and i think they are true! If cats didn't have razor sharp claws i think that their only advantage is their flexibility while wolves have really powerfull jaws(which can actually make a really powerfull bite maybe 1000plus pounds but sadly since wolves only have one set of teeth they have to be really carefull of not breaking them)and one last thing as to why i think it's true is because it would be like a fair hand to hand combat, since cats have razor sharp claws and wolves don't it's like a sword vs hand type of battle, i hope this made sense!

Snow Leopard. Wolves will ONLY attack if the prey decides to flee. They are essentially helpless until their prey starts running away, and I reckon a snow leopard is gonna stand it's ground. If the leopard stands it's ground, the wolves attack is no where near as strong as the leopard's
