Very enjoyable, and typical Dartmoor weather 😄 When it's better weather, the postbox walks are good. A fair few are on bogs, so it needs to be not so wet! Fairy looks so cute in her rain coat ❤

It has rained non stop for nearly 3 weeks now and everywhere is flooded! We had to turn back from a walk today because the road was so flooded we couldn’t get through it was too deep!

Fairy actually looked like she got spooked a couple of times in those haunted locations! My black chow-chow mix could see ghosts/ things in the unseen, I'm sure of it (and Chinese people believe that black dogs can and do see ghosts). Beautiful but desolate countryside, and even foreboding. I wouldn't go in that forest at night (or any of the other haunted places), either. Thanks for taking us with you on your walks! Cheers!

Too spooky and eerie to spend the day or night in the bunk house let alone camp in the woods there. I will say that the site was very beautiful. Great place to film a scary movie. Yikes! I hope you and Fairy didn’t spend the night. Cheers!

I think Fairy thought the pub was a bit crowded for a big dog like her (tho' I quite like it!) and what she really wanted to see was a plate of chips & a nice blanket for a nap! I truly expected to see Heathcliff come striding across the Dartmouth moor, searching for his lost Cathy, but watching Fairy looking for wildlife & wondering about those very big dogs (ponies) was almost as good, if not as startling. I think Fairy would look adorable with a couple of pairs of legwarmers, a la "Flashdance!" Thanks for sharing her adventures!

She is a lovely pup, is she not? You chose some of the best places for walks, Dartmoor is one of a kind in the world. There's nowhere quite like it. J.R.R. Tolkien was inspired by Wistman's Wood and created Fangorn Forest, home of the Ents.

I'm using your idea of putting the harness on top of my greys coat, I don't know why I never thought of that. Also I'm looking for that squeaky toy as all mine are squeaky stuffed animals. You have a perfect voice for narration I'm enjoying Fairy.

Yes I find the harness on top of the coat works really well and it’s more comfortable for her as it sometimes rubs the hair off under her belly!

6:20: strictly speaking those little statues aren't gargoyles. gargoyles are the ugly-face features at the bottom of sloping rooves, specifically the ones with water spouts to direct rain away from the building.
