ADEPTICON 2024 WARMUP MATCH 1
SEAN playing his beloved Greyjoys was looking for some trial games before heading out to #Adpeticon2024 and SirUnderHedge answered the call.
We decided to run Banners & Butchery for the experience (we had both only played it once before) and used the Adepticon rules for rolling for terrain. Sean opted for his Eric list, focused on generating pillage and keeping up morale. SirUnderHedge also decided to run a morale heavy Renly Charismatic Heir list. Enjoy the fight!

Why would RKs heal on passing a morale? They (nor the attachment) don’t have Dauntless

this was a mistake based on the fact that the last time Rose Knights were played by either of us they had Loras in them. You are 100% correct this should not be a heal.

At 16:38 the Greyjoy player said he activates his NCU (obviously to claim the last remained zone on the tactic board), then it was triggered and activated Cortnay's Penrose Order with the Heal Ability. I'm pretty sure after that, the Greyjoy player can't say ..."oh better i pass"... I'm mean he announced his move bc it was obviously what he was going to do, so he has to go for it. Otherwise Cortnay's Order becomes useless, if this is allowed in the rules. At the end he only prevents that enemy NCU'S claims zones and this is not intended from the developer.

Thanks! In tourney play we’d have been a bit more strict on that you are correct. But this was a practice match and we were a bit more lax.

@@underthehedgegaming sry I was wrong I guess. I read in the rulebook (page 20) that an NCU can forgo to claim a zone during its activation. He was fine. But it feels still wrong that move, after the announcement of Cortnay's Order.

Yes you are correct. I was thinking this referred to another point in the game where he kind of switches who he was about to activate in response to this play. But yes he can def choose to pass with an NCU so long as a spot on the board is open. Thanks for watching and commenting!

25:55 charge distance to crossbows would be much longer as Ironmakers would need to pivot a lot to by pass RKs

He does say or longer, he never did a proper measurement as he decide to go for the rose knights.
