I like Motionless in White but if you look at their stuff it's definitely copying Ronnie's stuff. He did the whole neon stuff for the trilogy and they did cyberhex, he did popular monster ads like a movie poster, they did werewolf.,like a movie poster, plus used his producer and his videographer, he slows down does his reimagined stuff they did masterpiece (awesome song btw) and sign of life....

I’m glad seeing someone else that’s finding this album as good as I am. So many people are already calling it the worst album he’s ever released and are hating on it because it’s not his “usual” music. But Ronnie is literally known for doing different styles of music.😭

Literally none of his albums sound the same.

"Everyone" is Ronnie bandwagon haters or the gatekeeping metal heads. Those who genuinely enjoy music, know this album is his (current) masterpiece.
@-Gax-2 ай бұрын
I've loved them since the beginning and it's not their best album but it's not their worst. Honestly the biggest problem with this album is most of it was already released and has been over period of years. I got to listen to the new Blink album or Green Day album or Eminem album and I've got a couple of songs spoiled' for me, not almost the entire album. But I think the best album is Coming hime because I think it is the most consistently thematic, and has the best lyricism. And thats one of their least popular, so I might not be the best person to talk about what album is best lol But I think a lot of long time fans may have a problem with the fact that in 10 years time you won't be listening to this album to help you feel better because life has dealt you a bad card, but every other album you can say that about. And a lot of us really like emotional storytelling in music. Not to say this album doesn't have that it does but it's undeniably more socially minded than emotionally. What do you expect from a bunch of emo kids turned adults
@-Gax-2 ай бұрын
@@katiep5256 Musically? No, they didn't. But lyrically? Yes, the were all similar. Ronnie wasn't the king of the emo, punk scene of the 2000s for no reason. He was because he wrote songs that helped a lot of people get through hard times and this album really doesn't offer as much of that as every other album. Of course it is here in spades but it's really hard to categorise Popular Monster and Prequel in the same category when the songs were released in nearly half a decade apart. For most bands that's two albums apart.
@anthonywozniak73732 ай бұрын
@-Gax- being slowly released over years isn't a bad thing, nor should it effect if the album is good or not. Some of the theatrical music videos took 4 months to produce. For one video. Instead we slowly got the theatrical story of Ronnie told to us over an entire experience. It isn't just the lyricism, this album has been an entire experience. I've also been with Ronnie since the beginning. Yes, going back and listening to old FIR music makes me feel better (because emo kid as you said), but again that shouldn't effect if an album is good or not. And you can't let nostalgia skew your mind. And again. I love old Ronnie.. it is my happy music, but compositionally speaking.. popular monster is on a whole nother level.
