Video is a bit long for him to react to it. Not to be negative or anything but he seems to have a "rule" that if the video is above 8 minutes in length he won't likely click on it, and this one is 3x that length. Other reaction channels specifically limit their reactions to falling in reverse to 8-9 minutes because of it and even say out loud in the videos "hey ronnie, i hope this is short enough" lol.
@xraysteve Жыл бұрын
@@covrmeporkins38 I never noticed the time constraint but I’ve seen plenty tailor their video in other ways for him. Ronnie Radke is a musical genius. He is the mind behind everything, from lyrics, beats, and instrumentation, to video concepts. Band members have come and gone over the years, but the music has never wavered. He is an expert at genre blending. He even took 2 of his own 10 year old emo style songs and flipped them into masterpieces. Popular Monster is the song that put FIR into a lot of people's radar, before this, so that would be a good one to check out. "The Trilogy" is awesome too. It's 3 songs that tie together to tell a story, but if you do them, do them in order, for context. First is Losing My Mind, then Losing My Life, then Drugs. All of their more recent videos are very cinematic and high production. The label basically said that it's his money, so if he wants to spend it on music videos, so be it. You'll think you know what you're going to get with each song and video, but you'll be wrong every time. They're full of surprises. Great reaction!

@@Zedd0z Yeah you got it! The more you learn about his history, the more the lyrics make sense to you. There's a part in this song when he says "You know my history, it ain't a mystery, I put every enemy outta their misery," and then you hear a sound effect of gun shots. In real life, Ronnie actually went to prison for 2 years because one of his crew members shot someone in some kind of street brawl, where two groups met up for a fight. His daughter also played a huge role in some of his music videos, to represent someone who grounds him, keeps in in check from letting out his dark side and so on. He said in an interview that she saved his life, forcing him to focus on what's really important, which is to be a good father and make sure everyone is safe etc. He's the real deal, meaning he cares about the material he puts out, and all his stuff from 2013 onwards has been very well done.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Ronnie Radke and Falling In Reverse. That man is talented as hell and has stated that Queen is one of his influences. I've never seen another band mix so many genres in one song, and so fluidly at that. They're one of the best bands out there right now. Ronnie has come such a long way as an artist. Search for Escape the Fate and early Falling In Reverse songs. If you want to see the continuation of this song, watch "Last Resort (Reimagined)", and pay attention to the ending of that video. I'm also a Tom MacDonald fan, he's a lyrical genius. With Nova by his side working on the videos, they're a powerful team. Tom is Canadian but has lived in California for quite some time. Ronnie Radke and Falling In Reverse are from Las Vegas.

This is awesome!!! As a fan for a decade- I LOVE seeing first timers! Ronnie has gotten so much better over the years- but had always had IT-! He doesn’t like Alone- for one line- but I LOVE IT! he has been mixing genres and being his own person for so long- never changes and vends- just keeps being him. His metrics have always been deep- look at GAME OVER- the actual message and words- beautiful- but it’s fun and upbeat and gamer style- my teenager loves that song once I printed the lyrics out and dissected it with him- he was amazed with the content. Falling in Reverse is great as an English language arts tutor- using some of his lyrics as examples for double meaning and using previous lines as context clues and poetry- metaphors- it gets a lot of light bulb moments for these kids- then play the song- video with parental consent- and they are shocked ! It’s really cool

By far the best reaction I have seen to this song. What if I told you he's also a classical trained pianist and can sing opera and vroadeay level vocals to go along with what you watched here. Enjoy the rabbit hole that is Ronnie Radko. One of a kind.

Holy shit man! This is my favorite reaction to this song ever! You go into depths about it and the thoughts about it. But then you also made me laugh with “defintely not Tony” 😂. You’re gold man. It’s Tom MacDonald you’re right, this band and him were going to be on tour together before Covid decided to ruin everything. “I had my face painted like darth maul as a child, why would anyone divulge that information?” You’re killing me 😂. "That was a lot, could be the autism" bud you're hilarious 😅. I'm so glad I found this video

Hi and so sorry to intervene but this part of the song refers to the title of Drake, Energy! It's even a tribute to the original song! "I got enemies, got a lotta enemies, got a lotta people tryna drain me of my energy"

I love how much you enjoy this. Ronnie Radke (the singer) is so fucking intelligent with his lyrics and production. The whole band of course is a part of that but Ronnie really takes the lead when it comes to all that stuff and it's FANTASTIC. Also your reaction to when it transitions into metal is hilarious and absolutely made my day. It's not often I find someone who reacts to genuinely to Falling in Reverse.

I’m late to this!!!!! OMG I suggested Falling In Reverse before this song came out and never expected you to do a reaction to them, let alone this one. Teddy you are so fabulous. Welcome to Falling In Reverse. This is exactly what I was telling you about a few times in comments, there are rock bands that use more Rap in their lyrics, even if it's not whole long sections like this song. The singer is Ronnie Radke. Like Stray Kids, Ronnie layers his vocals and plays with it all to build a complex sound full of depth. Which means that they play a background track at concerts as well as have the live band and his live vocals, all mixed together for one live performance. And also like Stray Kids, FIR's most recent albums are a mesh of genres that do everything from clean and beautiful singing, to the rap, to the screaming. Yes, the videos are crazy on their production quality, Ronnie is an avid video gamer so you can see a lot of video game influences in the more recent MV's. This song goes more Rap Heavy than other songs and then balances that with more heavy screaming. Other popular songs that don't go quite so extreme in either direction but still have that lyricism are Popular Monster, Zombified, and Voices in My Head. Also, if you wanted to give Maneskin another go, I would suggest Zitti e Buoni. You commented on his small bars, you get more with that song.

Wow. Awesome write up thanks for that. I wondered what people meant about their live performances being different
@muse9236 Жыл бұрын
@@XRPeakyBlindAR this use of background tracks has become a common thing. But it’s the source of some of Ronnie’s public fights in the industry that he refers to in the song. From what I understand, the band had to cancel a show once because their laptops were stolen and those controlled the background tracks and stuff. So, they cancelled the show. And some old school people went at them for not just performing live. They do perform live, but without the tracks, it’s not the same experience people paid for. Smh.

If you would like to see a completely different side of Ronnie, react to- I'm not a vampire (2011) and I'm not a vampire revamped (2021). Best if done together. To get the full effect. Same lyrics done in a completely different way. Mind blowing. The revamped is a masterpiece. Ronnie is a genius

I love this group! Made by Ronnie Radke after getting booted from his band "Escape The Fate" because rhey had issues with him catching a body and going to prison, this guy learned how to rap, and got out and then came back more versatile than ever, and literally said f*ck you to his old band for abandoning him, man's a genius.

Great reaction. The second slower part is a Drake flow. Ronnie Radke, the singer, is actually a friend of Tom MacDonald. But I think it's more their background in rock and metal that makes them sound a bit similar to you. Tom catalogue is only 1/3 "political" btw, but those are the songs people seem to talk about the most. He also isn't rapping fast very often. Anyways... Falling in Reverse made me give rap a chance. Maybe they'll make you give metal a chance. Please check out Popular Monster by them. Greetings from Germany
