Lyrics Well I woke up for coffee and there was nothing there Slept on the couch, my friend needed the bed I walked to the store and I was ten cents short The cashier took pity we’ve all been there before So I climb in the car and I drive off to work Running low on gas like so many nights before I wash all the dishes and I sing to myself things’ll be better one day I just wish I had done something better with my life Bills piling up and they’re turning off the lights I can’t mend a broken heart, damn I’m tired of this trailer park Landlord says he’s raising our rent but me and my folks are all knee deep in debt The restaurant says they’re cutting my wage, I’ll be out on the streets if I can’t get paid It’s a vicious cycle and I’m getting tired, aint the first time that ive slept outside It’s a greedy world were livng in now and I dont wanna grow old on the poverty line I just wish I had done something better with my life Bills piling up and they’re turning off the lights I can’t mend a broken heart, damn I’m tired of this trailer park Chords capo 5th am c g f

Art should always inspire an emotional connection. Your words draw you into a World of Pain & SUFFERING that so many endure. Life is hard on good day when you are just surviving. The day to day grinds away at the essence of our being. May we all know Love in moments of pain. Kindness when it is forgotten by others. And Forgiveness when those step upon us. For we are all still Brothers & Sisters of a small blue marble for ever spining through space. GP, Out!

Made me tear up.About an hour ago I was taking my boys 6 and 8 on a bike ride through our town. We were riding through some nice neighborhoods and this is the song that was playing in my heart. Wishing I had done something better with my life. Then I looked over and saw my boys, it doesn’t matter we live in an apartment and I can’t afford to buy a house. We have a solid intact family and for that I’m grateful.

I own my trailer in a trailer park in a small town. I paint for a school system and get state pay, barely middle class where I live. I drive a truck I'll be making payments on for years. I have a good family, loyal woman. We struggle some months, but I go to bed proud knowing my 2 hands keeps my family going and thank God for his many blessings. I'm grateful for my quiet trailer park life.

He holds the World in His Hands In the book of revelation, God is identified as “Almighty” eight different times. The Greek term is pantokrator - compound of the two Greek words: panto (everything) and kratein (to hold) God holds everything together. The answer is Jesus. He is the answer to everything

Im 32, about to be 33, was disabled by a semi truck vs car accident 6 years ago on the way to barber school. I’ve lost everything since then, 30+ hours of reconstructive surgeries and 2 small strokes, fake hips and rebuilt pelvis, depression & anxiety. I can’t get any help from disability or food stamps so i scrape by any way i can while i fight for help. I had to sell my car, feel like all i want to do is pick the bottle back up or go find the pills because life’s lonely & tough. 6 years and im tired of it this all, this song hits home right now. Thank you for not making me feel so alone in the struggle.

so sorry to hear you are having a hard time. Please know that there's many of us out there who are suffering so much.. you are NEVER alone! Try to take time to "breathe" and find something, even small, that takes your mind off your pain/s even if for a minute. I wish you well and hope you will succeed in lives journey. I never thought i'd be where i am today.. i almost gave up my life a few decades ago and i can honestly say.. i am grateful that God didn't allow that to happen. Things change and most of the time, life DOES get better so never give up.. Keep Faith. God Bless.

I'm 42 and live with my dad and mom . My dad is 70 and a disabled Vet and he owns his trailer but the land is someone else's. Our land lord who lived on land died a year back when his tractor rolled over him while he was working on it. He was 85 . His son took over the park and has raised rent twice since then and only gives us a month to month lease so at any time we could be homeless. I am grateful but scared when so much depends on the kindness of a stranger . Both my parents are on oxygen and wouldn't make it one day with out a place to live . With the rising price of rent in texas they can't afford anything else

Stuff gets better. 7 years ago the wife and I were renting a bedroom in a house. Everything we owned was in there or storage. Some months we could barely pay rent, and I was going without meals. We put away every penny we could, went without, and worked like our lives depended on it. 7 years later we bought our first home. I am working on it if I’m not at work or asleep, and I go to bed at night with my body hurting. It’s all worth it in the end. Things will get better, but it depends on you resolve and mindset. Good luck all, you can do this.

It’s songs like this that teleport empathy into a distant soul. If I’m ever feeling sad, sorry for myself, this is my song of freedom. When we look in the mirror we see ourselves, when we hear the songs of another, we often can see deeper into the mirror. This song’s Deliverance Deep

As someone who did do better with his life, got a decent house, a nice pick-up and three great dogs, I still don't have happiness. Making the right decisions too much in my life has left me with no friends, no family and no love. You have have what I dont have, a positive soul. You'll do well in life young man.
@johnbarrett52293 ай бұрын
I'm 60 with a nice house that's paid for in a nice neighborhood. I never got married and I never had kids. Spend too many years sitting on a bar stool laughing with fools and imagining I was someone. Now I live alone and I'd give everything I have or will ever have to have a son or a daughter. Man did I blow it. Wish I'd done a lot of things different with my life. I hear where you're coming from. I really do. I made all the right but all the wrong decisions. When I look back with honesty, there were a few really sweet girls I would have been smart to marry. But I was too cool in my mind and looking for something perfect - not realizing how imperfect I was and still am. People my age have grandchildren and what I wouldn't give to hold a grand baby in my arms or to have a son or daughter I was proud of. But I am happy to be alive and I'm kind to people and sometimes I help someone out who needs help. Was a great song huh? I assume you've heard Oliver Anthony's Doggonit? Also a great song.
