You’re an amazing storyteller and I want more. LOL

That's really kind of you to say - I'll gladly keep posting if you keep watching.

Get such a sense of calm and clarity watching/listening to you again. You just have such a positive aura about you, your openness to talk about things too. Quite a few years may have passed, but listening to your words and wisdom will never get old!

I'm glad that's what you're getting from these. I try my best to provide factual information based on my own experience... and while I may not always be positive, I hope it comes across as real, whatever that means :)

Jess, I'm so happy you're back. Been following since I was a teen. Do you still keep in contact with the others from the Beaver Bunch?

Hey Sophie! Your name reminds me of a nickname Mary has for me: Beth Cooper. What a fun memory. Glad to see you still on here! I try to keep in touch with them but it's a bit tougher with Lori and Michelle... kids always add an extra layer of difficulty when it comes to long-distance friendships. AJ and I talk still though - I'll add this to my suggestion list and get it in a video soon!

Yay, Jess! Love that you're giving the videos a try-- seriously, could listen to you talk probably about anything. I am so interested to hear more about the tattoo shop-- SO amazing you & Sophia have created that together. Happy to see your face again :)

Very cool - thanks for the response. I'll see about adding a bit more about the business in another video then :)

Hey Tehseen (I think that's how you spell it)! I do still have my original fixie bike. She doesn't get taken out quite as often as she did but I'll never get rid of her. I have a super nice vintage multi-gear bike I bought off a friend a few years ago that gets a little more love these days but still never enough. I'll see about responding to the rest in another video!!

Thank you, Jess for making new videos. Its really appreciated. I am really curious if you are at all involved with the lgbt community in your city or what you think of it now. I've personally never been involved with it but I'm not sure if I'm doing myself a disservice for the future or am missing out on being possibly completely empowered by not seeing more women like me as a regular part of my life. 😬 apologies if this sounds like a mouthful. Feel free to share anything, this is my way of feeling connected.

I know this is an old comment but I am currently making a queer podcast with AJ, if you haven't seen it yet. It's called Queer Maintenance and you can find us on IG @queer_maintenance.

What is it like to look at your videos from when you first started? Do you still feel connected to yourself from 2008? Or do you feel as if that were a completely different person?

It is very weird to see those old videos. There's definitely nostalgia but such a huge disconnect because so much has happened since then.
