Steel column Splice connection | steel connetion | 3D Steel Connection animation

Connecting two hollow section using End Plate and Bolts is presented in this 3D Steel Connection animation. Bolting directly two hollow sections is difficult, due to lack of access to the interior of the member. So, end plate is welded with each hollow section, and both are bolted together at splicing locations. Stiffener plates are provided wherever required in connection design.
