the issue with that is it punishes going along with the bit; someone might lose just because another player thinks it's funny to agree. Alternative: Sell 3 people items that they otherwise would NEVER want. Still gives the snake oil salesman vibes but makes the goal to actually convince people, which is more interesting than hoping nobody accepts or just withholding the product. Could use a pricing clause to make sure you can't just give away free stuff.

There should be a dedicated “secret verifier” that helps the player when they are unsure of wether or not they’ve succeeded the task or not. Because with Pearl she kept it a secret and did pass but purely because she didn’t know due to Lizzie’s confusion she said what the task was at the END of the session. Because if a player is confused on if they’ve succeeded or not there’s no way for them to figure it out untill after they’ve already had to press the fail/success button.

Some of the contraption MUST be visible. If it remains intact and functional after 30 minutes, you succeed" The Santa Claus - "Ask 4 different players what their favorite block is and deliver it to their inventories without them seeing you. I think an interesting twist is if two people had to do a task together. There are only two people per session and they have to find the other person and complete their joint task. However they don’t know who the other person is so it’s really risky if they reveal their secret. The reward should also be bigger for completing the task together.

I agree with the comments here. Your idea has potential, but is both way too easy (most of the people are doing that for most others anyways, thanks to there being 17 people in a 3 hour session), and honestly kinda boring. Making it obvious and trying to get called out would be more interesting. Also, making sure you're around them for the vast majority or all the time, so you can't just run to the other side of the map and succeed by default.

A few ideas for tasks: Cause other players to take damage 3 times without directly attacking them. Convince another player to re-roll their task. Trick 3 players into thinking you’ve failed your task, and have them follow you to the secret keeper. Steal an item from a player, and successfully sell it back to them. Don’t get caught. Get everyone on the server to complete a favour for you.
