They totally miss the incident between the BMW and Merc for about 5 mins. No communication at all between the commentators and the camera men haha. Thanks for the Christmas present guys.

Merry Christmas guys. Another year of amazing footage of bygone eras. You certainly know how to jog a memory or two and. very occasionally, moisten the eyes with delight. Salute.

Tim May said that Grice drove the Monza as well as Peter Brock did the year before. As much as I am a life long Brock fan, I disagree. I think Grice drove it better in 1984 than Brock ever did. Brocky had a strange (for him) tendency to over drive the Monza. It was like he had something to prove, that he wasn't just a touring car driver. And as such he tried to be the absolute fastest every time he drove it. Grice on the other hand only ever drove the Monza as fast as he needed to and seemed to drive well within himself. And lets face it, Grice's results in just one year in the Monza were better than Brock's who raced it in both 1982 and 1983.
