The fact that this update happened a month ago really shows how little people really care about this game anymore I'm getting driveclub vibes from this, a fantastic game that wasn't really successful, but when this is delisted we will look back at it as one of the greats

When DC became successful, Sony decided to pull the plug. Very sad because updates were phenomenal, motorcycle add-on was great and every night, all multilayer lobbies were full.

I feel a bit like I'm a dissenter from popular opinion of this game: I love the driving model, I don't give a shit about the lack of drift events, love the AI (especially the Nemesis system), and the fact that you can choose to drive it like a sim or like an arcade racer by changing settings. And it's visually excellent, with a good selection of cars. The only complaint I have is that I wish it had more tracks. Still, this and NFS Heat were my top games of 2019.

Yeah I missed buying it at it’s launch but just got the ultimate edition on sale for £16 and it’s honestly so much fun and I really like the driving model especially with the touring cars

It's a solid game for career mode but it's not as good as past Grids because it lacks what they had. For example, you can't really manage your team on this game with sponsors. Autosport had entire race weekends with practice and qualifying sessions too. This game is lacking so much that it seems basic.

Only 2 things wrong with this game, imho. 1. Needs more tracks. 2 the qualify lap. I’d prefer it to be like most racing games. You finish in 1st place and you start next race in 1st. Finish last and you’ll start next race in last. The way it is now is silly. If I finish in 1st then I should start next race in 1st. It’s just annoying. This way, you can always start in 1st place in every race, regardless of where you finished in the last race. Makes winning every race too easy. If I finish 1st race in 5th, I want to start in 5th on next race, for a challenge. Overall , I really enjoy this game.
