Grief as an invitation | Bayo Akomolafe

Globally acclaimed speaker and philosopher Bayo Akomolafe joined us on the Regenerative Leadership Journey last week to share these and other downloads of poetic wisdom about regeneration and what these times are asking of us.
In this clip, Bayo talks about loss and grief as a “technology for the emergence” of different ways of thinking, being and acting in the anthropocene. There are moments, he says, when hope and optimism becomes an obstacle to flourishing.
Grief is an activism in itself, an invitation to make new forms of art, and to be stretched into new forms and new ways of sensing.

inspiring! Thank you Bayo! !reminded me too of the deepest touching workshop I ever did (2011) was with Sonbofu Some from Burkino Faso about " Grieving". Unfortunately she died, but quite some info still available ....

This whole ant thing is wild! I love the idea of pairing…I have experienced mold inhabitation in my own body…I have been paired with mold to my great suffering but now that I am able to work with the spirit of mold, and clear it a bit, I see how it twisted my being and shifted my course…amazing
