It's always the fan games with the coolest concepts and osts it's like they know what we are thinking/expecting to want. Legit this song is giving like some sort of vibe where the characters accidentally set off some kinda bomb or trap and now are running away and stuff

The game's kinda old, though. It was released in the same year the show ended, back when there wasn't that much material to work with.

It uses five witches (probably because from what I can tell back then we knew about three only via familiars and fact that barriers didn't match up and for remaining ones I assume there wasn't enough information to go with; there was only so many that had enough information to make a stage and boss out of) and has five characters - now there's much more of both witches and magical girls. If the game was made today there'd definitely be more.

2011 is not old at all. I play games from the 1980ies in addition to this one. And yes, this is a very good game, despite the inability to save between the stages.
