Ah yes, the song that starred it all (for me.) I went and saw him yesterday, I met him, I got his autograph, he was the most energetic, wholehearted, genuine person I've ever met. And the only reason I met him is because I realized it was worth it to stay alive, all because of this song.

He raps about what's real and raps about life, that's why he's a rhyme sayer. He doesn't care if you like it or not and he doesn't care if he's making tons of money. He captures a feeling and goes with it, music is about emotion and expression, how is it whining? Listen to the rest of his songs. If you don't like it, don't listen to it, but grieves is the real deal, give him a chance before you hate on one of the few guys in the game still doing his own thing and rapping about what he feels.

A man 'dead in the water' has laid 'against the bottom' 'on the rocks'. It's 'bloody poetry' that shows 'the best of me' flying at 'irreversible' 'lightspeed', the 'unedible' 'scar gardens' 'speak easy' to the 'kings' as they 'smile for the blade'.

I saw this dude a couple weeks ago and I have never seen someone who loves his job as much as him. It was fuckin insane how much energy one guy can bring to a crowded bar. For s solid hour+ he was bouncing around the stage even more than Ben Wells. That's fuckin saying something.

This is how hip hop should sound. The crap on the radio isn't cutting it anymore. somewhere down the line people decided hip hop has to sound a certain way, and that way isn't going anywhere. This is the type of music you can listen to 100 times and actually get something out of rather than listening to how much money, ass, or weed the artists have. Honestly, people need to wake up out of the trance they're in and realize this is where it's at.
