I'm frustrated by the abundance of talented artists out there who don't have the fame and fans they deserve. It's people like this who should be famous, known worldwide. The people with the voices and raw truth in their voices. Not the people who wear silly wigs and shake their booties on stage. Anyway, amazing song. Amazing artist.

As a mediocre songwriter, this is the type of chord structure I strive to establish in some of my songs. It's absolute perfection in simplicity. It's rare I hear a song for the first time and get emotionally moved by it, but this song hit me like that. There is a generous measure of melancholy truth & beauty to this composition. The best marriage in music is the relationship between melody and chord changes. The verses in this song are perfect testimony to that. The added fact that the lyrics hit home with so many relationships is additional icing on a beautifully made cake. Just my opinion.

I had this played at my dear brother-in-law’s funeral for his wife and a daughters. He died in May of 2024 at the age of 59 of early onset Alzheimer’s. He loved his wife and daughters very much. God bless you Tim.

I am sorry about your struggle. I'm back and forth as well, but it's because I have a gypsy soul and the person that truly loves me unconditionally has basically taught me how love and to settle in my life. It's been a long 2+ years now, but wouldn't trade it for anything :)

You are so right! But the people who wear silly wigs and shake their booties on stage won't have their fame it it weren't for people giving them all that attention and wasting their money for a "good show". It's quite sad. =/
