GRIFTERS // Intermission - The Story So Far

Hiatus Update Aug. 28, 2024 - Good news! The script for Ep 95 is DONE and is now the longest script I've ever written, sitting at just over 8100 words. Bad-ish news, it took longer to write than I expected due to Personal Life Stuff (not bad stuff, just stuff I had to process, which took time and brainpower) which means that the hiatus may continue into the middle of September, possibly first week of October, depending on how/if the game cooperates. Hiatus Update Aug. 14, 2024 - Current plan is still to be back in the first week of September. Screenwriting is going slowly but it IS going. Ep. 95 is at 3660 words at the moment, and it's not done - if that gives you anything to go by. For reference, the longest script from Dawnbreakers was "The Discussion" (about what to do with the Civil War) at 7393 words. I'm guessing Grifters 95 is going to end up around the 6-7k mark. Current Hiatus Status: Not much to report as far as when I'll be back for real. It may end up being the first week of September, but we'll see! I'm writing episode 95 as we speak but there's also more planning to be done for the second arc in this part. It might be a while. (Also, EDIT - Apologies if you watched this without an ad blocker and got an egregious number of midroll ads. I've adjusted it down to hopefully only one. My bad, y'all!)

Hey EJ! Just wanted to say that I really admire your creativity and talent to be able to make these characters and stories, plus music! It’s easy to tell that a lot of thought, time, and effort is put into these and I think it’s really cool! Keep it up!

This was a great re-run. It's been a while since the series started so it's good to remind the viewers (and the creator) of the whos, whats and wheres. Take the time to recharge the batteries (and the voice). By the looks of it, things are going to heat up in the second arc 😁

If I may guess at possible future events. I'm betting one of the characters (I'm guessing Atlug) on Solstheim get enrolled in rooting out the Ulen/Morag Tong conspiracy thus making enemies of both the Tong and the Hlaalu. Myth is then hired to someone he, likely, has little if any connection or affection to. But this high risk but otherwise normal job spirals out of control.
